For anyone who didn't hear,

Brian Jacques, the beloved author of Redwall, esteemed poet, and one of the most eminent writers of the 20 and 21st centuries DIED.

I'm kind of in shock.

Brian Jacques is DEAD

He died almost a month ago, Feb 5th, of a heart attack.

Was anyone else a fan of Redwall? He's been my favourite author since I was 8.

Wow. I'm speechless.

I've never heard of him nor have I heard of Redwall but it is always devastating to learn someone has died.

I am very sorry for you and for other fans of that novel.

We've only had three all year, do you guys ever get snow days?

Typically we'll get about 9 or 10.

sorry, but WTF. That is so unfair. It's like the snowiest winter ever where I am, but it ALWAYS snows on the weekend. So we haven't had a snow day yet! It so unfair. And every time it does snow alot, it's on weekends and always wet snow, so I end up spendin my sundays breaking my back shoveling. Not that I'm old or anything. I just hate shoveling. And we would have gotten a snow blower, but the family voted for a Kinect instead. So it goes.

I live in the same area, although not the same state. But we don't get nearly as many snow days, but we do get a lot of snow. *sigh* it's been a snowy winter and still no snow days!

oh, and they ADD extra days to our school year, in case there's a snow day. This year they added 10 DAYS!!!
