Yeah... I mean, Uotani was okay, but not as good Hana-chan. or Kisa. Or Rin. Or Kagura (she makes me happy.) And even Tohru is tolerable.

But, yes, my list is something like this.
1. Yuki
2. Akito or Shigure. They tie.
3. Kisa and Hana. Tie.

I really liked the idea of Hanajima and the Martial Arts guy, Kyo's teacher... I love how he was so freaked out by it. Actually, I believe I like it primarily because everyone was scared out of their wits because of it. That is, everyone but those two and I think Tohru

I did like that part. Really, really liked it. For a chiclit seeming manga book, Fruits Basket is actually really deep.

That part made Kagura one of my favorite characters.

It's so deep! It really goes in psychological and emotional sides of the characters that most stories won't go into.

The worst Manga series are the ones based on actual novels. At least, in my opinion.

Gosh. She's awesome and all, but now I'm beginning to feel creeped out by her. Shishou might come back from an errand and she'll say "Go and return the candy you just got. It's bad for your health." Awesome, but scary. She is beginning to sound like my mom.

It depends on what she does with her power. She's still amazing, but if she became really annoying with her power...
But we have to remember that she doesn't like it. In the volume about her past, she makes it pretty clear that her own powers make her tired and scared.

And how Tohru changed everything. In reality, someone like Tohru would be too good to be true. She's kind, accepting, gentle. The perfect girl, really. It's impossible to hate her, once they get to know her. Which makes me feel that the book was just a little unrealistic on that end.

Well, there are two versions. One is in Japanese and you watch it with subtitles. There is a dubbed version in English as well.

I watched them in English. And all the episodes are online. if you search Fruits Basket anime episodes online, something should come up

But if you want it in English, make sure to search for dubbed episodes. Subbed is usually what automatically comes up.
I tend to prefer subbed generally though.
