Mom The book while informational is not what I expected. The authors explore forgiveness as lived and practiced by the Amish people. It was a bit "clinical" for me. I would have enjoyed learning more about the individuals involved.

Kathleen I found the book very informative in regards to Amish culture and was absolutely amazed at how they are able to put forgiveness into practice.

Carol E. I was very intrigued by the whole idea of forgiveness. It's not something we Christians talk much about, and I think we should study it much more. I greatly admire how the Amish people take it so to heart and live it every day. It's not an easy concept for us "English" to wrap our minds and hearts around, especially when it comes to very serious events such as they suffered. It is heart-warming to know that people can learn to forgive and even to thrive in their new reality. Amazing.

Mary I like how the book also looks at other cases of forgiveness not just what happened with the shooting.
