Ivan took it, and pulled himself to his feet. "Let's go," he said, walking towards the lake.

Alanna arrived at the fields with Anfisa and Cassidy's book on the Morse Code. She lay down on the soft, feathery grass and opened it up. Cassidy was right. It did have a lot of pictures.

Anfisa plopped down beside the other girl, peering down at the pages. "What does it say?" she asked, glancing up at Alanna.
((I don't really feel like writing about the Morse Code, so... imagine that she is reading it aloud.))Alanna glanced at the first page, and began reading. ".....," she read.

Anfisa ooh-ed as she read, her lue eyes growing large. "I wish I could read," she said. "Then I could read that."

Within a half hour, Alanna finished the picture filled book. "I guess that's it. Do you wanna look at the pictures?"

Anfisa nodded, peering over the other girl's shoulder to see the various pictures in the book. Another "Oooh" escaped her as she saw all the colored photos.
Alanna closed the book, and put it on the grass beside her. She leaned back, until she was resting on the ground. "Let's look up at the clouds. I did that all the time in Texas. Hey! That one looks like a teddy bear."

Anfisa laid back, staring up at the bright blue sky. She pointed to a mass of white, squealing with delight. "That one looks like a bunny," she giggled b
Alexa walked in towards the fields, her cabin far off in the distance. Alexa was a little mad, but very hurt. How could she? Alexa asked to herself.

Ambling through the fields with his hands behind his neck, Ivan whistled a happy tune with a bright grin on his face. He plopped down on the grass, staring up at the bright morning sky.
Twirling and leaping along through the tall grass, Mallory practiced what little dancing skills she had. Not knowing that her friend was a few feet from her unstable feet, she continued to waltz around.

"Mallory!"
Ivan's voice rang out through the feilds and towards Mallory. He smiled over at her, propping himself up with his forearms.

Mallory's chocolate brown eyes widened as her concentration broke. "Woa!" She yelped, falling down next to her friend. Her head landed on his chest, and she quickly rolled off of him.

Mallory blushed, nodding as she sat up beside him. "I'm fine. You just startled me." Throwing her arms around him in her best impression of a bear hug she added, "hi."

She shrugged, leaning back on her elbows. "Not much. Just left the a new friend. What about you?" She turned on her side, and placed her head on her hand.

"Oh. Nice. I was taking a walk. Like usual," Ivan replied, shrugging. "But at the fields instead of the beach or something."
Mallory nodded, thoughtful expression on her face. "Is the beach getting that old?" She asked him. "You'd think a son of Poseidon would prefer the beach to the fields."

"Of course not," Ivan retorted, giving her an incredulous look. "I just decided to try something new, is all."

"Ah. Well, you seem to like the fields too. You're here quite a bit," she noted with a smile. She was a tad surprised at how much she seemed to know about her friend, but she blew it over casually.

Of course, Mallory flushed a bright pink. "That's wierd, I thought you knew you liked it here." She thought for a moment, pulling at some grass. "It's peaceful."

Mallory rolled her eyes. "I still think you're really smart," she argued. "Actually, I know you're really smart. You can just be really oblivious."

"Maybe. Depending on what the subject is, I bet you could outsmart them." She smirked, and crossed her legs together.,

((Heehee.)) "Of course you'd like swimming." She blew up her cheeks, crossing her eyes in a monkey face. "As for me, I really like swimming, thank you again. But I like doing hair, reading, and sometimes I like hanging out in my cabin."

"You know how my siblings can be. Sometimes, it's best to just be somewhere else." She gave him a knowing look, but ended up smiling.

Immediatly, her hand caught his nose, a sly smile on her face. "Gotcha," she crowed, grimacing a little as his tongue met her hand. "You're right. And my beat friend is the best. Hence the name."

"'ell thith ith awk'ard," Ivan said, going cross eyed to see her hand holding his tongue. "And it kinda huth."

Mallory pouted a little, and released her grip. "Why is this awkward?" She asked him, lower lip sticking out.

"It was your nose," she grumbled. "I don't think I'd grab your tongue and hold it." She made a face.
