Jen made a face, upper lip curling slightly. "Yes. I feel so safe and loved in my cabin," she replied with heavy sarcasm. She noted the movement with a raise of one black eyebrow.

"Well, I fight back now. I even hugged Evander a few months back. It actually scared him." Jen said with satisfaction in her voice.

"You sure that scared him?" Cassidy asked, eyebrows raised. "Cause I'm pretty sure he'd be more annoyed than terrified."
((XD SO TRUE.)) Jen nodded, thinking back at his reaction. "Well, He freaked out on me, and called me a b*tch." She shrugged as if beung compared to a female thing happened often brcause frankly, it did. Pursing her lips, something else dawned on her. "Of course, I'm sure that it won't go un-justified. He's going to get his revenge, somehow."

"'Freaked out' isn't the correct term," Cassidy commented. "Because apparently, he wasn't scared."

"Okay...he flipped. Ranted? Idunno, but he wasn't happy about it." She shrugged, not really caring what her brother did. If he did do anything, she wanted it to be quick so that the pain would end. Of course, Evander woukd make it long and painful if he knew her at all. It would be quick abd painful.

"That's true. And I'm the one that's gping to suck up the pain. I deserve it." She shrugged again, seeing herself as the bugger person in this situation. Unlike Drake, she took the punishments sge deserved.

((I am SO sorry!! :O there wasn't a '1 new')) "In my cabin, it's like murdering in the sane world." She shrugged absent-mindedly, and allowed Metus to slither down her arm. Metus coiled around her thin arm, tongue flicking out.

((it's okay))
Cassidy sighed. "It's truly getting pathetic," she commented. "All the tormenting, I mean."

Jen nodded, thinking of her little outburst in her cabin with Drake and Evander. "I'm trying to get it to stop, but they don't listen." And I don't listen to myself...

"Some people can't change," Cassidy said. "Because they don't know how to, or they simply can't."
"They best pray to the gods that they can change," Jen mumbled as Metus threatened to slide off her hand.

Jen's face hardened, and her eyes flashed a warning. "No. She didn't run. She'd never leave her family without good reason."

"Good reason," Cassidy scoffed. "She ran away because of Evanderband Drake and Devon. You call that a good reason?"
Jen glared at Cassidy, hand clenching into small fists. "You don't live with them, Cassidy. It is a very good reason."

"I know what the do, Jen. I've been a victim," Cassidy replied quietly. "But she left behind everyone else. Everyone who might have cared for her."
"She had no choice," Jen spat at get, eyes flashing dangerously. "She put up with Evander and Drake for years. It's too much after awhile."

Jen glared at her, nails digging into her hand. She did not wince at the pain, she hardly ever felt physical pain anymore. "Her choice was the most logical."

"Well then, Wise Girl. What would you have done inher position? Sinvce you know so much about what it's like living with my brothers!" Her words were cold, nad raised in anger.

"Very creative," Cassidy muttered. First Book Smarts and now the stereotypical 'Wise Girl'. Awesome. "I understand more than you think."
That was it. That last sentence had made her snap. Within two seconds, Cassidy was on her back, Jen on top of her, hand onher throat. "YOu have no idea, you stuck up little b*tch. You understand nothing, you don't know what it's like, so don't act like it. You don't know." Her voice was low, and dark. But inside the threatening voice, her voice shook slightly. About to snap, about to sob.

Cassidy was silent, staring up at the daughter of Phobos. Her dark eyes were cold, even as she struggled to breathe. "You're confused, Jen," she muttered, and fell silent once more.

((I think so, too. I always thought that Rose would be my character to go insane.))Jen smirked, glaring down at her. "What? Suddenly the girl who has a comment for everything is lost for words?"
((:/ I think that all of your characters are all hyperemotional. In Rose's position no sane person would be as insane as she, y'know?))
