A screech echoed in the distance.
Drake stopped walking. He knew it was there. Something, at least. He turned an walke the opposite direction, hands never leaving his pockets.

Several more screeches could be heard from not to far away. Drake felt a scowl curl onto his lips, though he said nothing.
One head shot up. It let out a hidious hiss as slowly gathered itself up.
Drake hadn't turned. He hadn't even bothered to see what monster it was. He simply walked.

Drake rolled his eyes and continued at the same pace. The hydra screeched and lunged towards them. Unlike most who haven't the faintest clue as to what hydra does, Drake whipped, thoughnot enough to sever the head.

((*sigh okie*))
A sharp hiss caused Drake to dart out of the way. He saw exactly what was about to happened... And he did nothing to stop it. The hydra tackled the girl to the ground, hissing.

She let out a cry of protest and struggled to avoid the poisonous spit and breath of the hydra.
Out for an evening stroll... in the fields... just--
Caspar blanched as he saw the unmistakeable form of the hydra attacking a camper. Who was that standing there, not doing anything?
Cursing Phobos, Caspar ran forwards, sword materializing as soon as he flipped open his purple wallet. They were fighting at the bottom of the cliff-- the lookout point of the riding trails.
"Get out of here!" Caspar shouted at the girl, trying to stab at the Hydra's legs.
((How many heads?))

Telly cringed as the sword came into sight and rolled out of the way of it, though the hydra wasn't anywhere near letting her leave.
Caspar managed to plunge his sword into the foreleg of the hydra and it let out a terrible ringing screech that seemed to echo off the blade.
Shit.
The monster let go of the girl but continued rampaging around, using its limbs as if it were disoriented. Its long necks tangled together and two heads smacked against each other.
Caspar turned to the girl. "Run. Don't look back."
