actually, the book isn't that good. i think it'll be a better movie.
Really my sister said she read it and she didnt like it because she thought the writing was to simple. So that makes me hesitant to even bother with it at all
Really? Then i'll probably just end up watcihng the movie since i have a feeling the movie will be epic. Like man Steven Spielburg is one of the producers. And I love the cast!! Aside from the obvious, Dianna's cool and i loved Teresa Palmer in Sorceror's Apprentice

I've actually heard both good and not so good things about the book, so I'm a little confused. I think I'll watch the movie first and then read the book. Plus, the movie looks amazing! (Yes, its most likely becasue of Alex ;))
All the action scenes though might look better on screen than off. Only because the writer might not be able to explain them in full details that well. While the movie can show us all the action packed parts.
And I'm a girl who definitely loves the action, adventure movies!!!!!Who's with me!!!???

YES, it will be better on screen. bcuz when you read it, the final action scene was like 2 or three chapters long. but it'll move faster in the movie, so it'll be better.

It came out yesturday!!! Anyone watched it yet?!
ME!! I saw it yesterday and Alex was amazing. He is sooo JACE even though this role is different - still a lot the same other than the lack of sarcasm and cockiness. I MUST go see it again...and maybe again. If he does not take the role of Jace, someone is giving him bad advice or he doesn't want to be a star. Built in fan base who WANT him in the role.The movie (back to the movie) followed the book pretty well although there were a few variations. I didn't totally get the chemistry between him and Sarah (even tho in real life they are engaged) and saw a bit between him and #6, but like in the book Henri told him that his feelings for Sarah are for life. The kid who plays Sam is really a good actor. Brad had a smaller role than in the book. Henri was great.
i wanna see it!!!!! but i've got a ton of homework and, tomorrow, our whole family is going shopping. i WILL SEE IT NEXT WEEKEND. i swear.
Havent seen it yet. I'm sick, but as soon as I'm through with that its off to the movies to see Alex :)
I was sick all week and decided I had that ticket for 4:10 PM Friday and I WAS going to be well by then! LOL
I just watched I am number four today and ALEX is HOTT!! He can come save me anytime:) but seriously the movie was amazing the character picks were perfect the actions scenes were awesome and the movie itself was so suspenseful

um... hello all! I am akbella, and I super much like alex pettyfer- wow I know that we are all slef admitted alex pettyfer fans, but saying that really makes me feel creepy! haha
I went to see I am number four like, a few days after it came out! Truthfully, I thought the movie was adeqete, some of the actors and actresses performances was poor, but alex pettyfer made that all OK.
I would also like to say that as much as I did not love the movie, I did like Alex Pettyfer's performance and loved the movie despite it's major differences from the book.

The book was OK, a solid 3.5 out of 5, but your sister is, In My Opinion, correct. It's hard to describe, but the author seems to be listing events instead of describing them.

And sorry to burst all of your bubbles, but he already said "no" to being Jace wayland! He said he liked the mortal instruments series, but not as much as this other series that he signed on with. I know, i'm mad at him too
