Ask for suggestions to add to your 'to read list.' Specify a genre you'd like to try. Describe things your interested in reading. What are a couple of books have you liked, what is one you weren't able to read?

Then look over what others post, and email - through Goodreads - some suggestions to at least three people.

I'm looking for something historical. I don't read much historical fiction, and I'd like to try that next. I tend to prefer male characters, but loved The Hunger Games, so can manage female characters if the book is good. I really don't like Gossip Girls books, which means strong plot is more important than relationships between characters. I'd prefer any excellent book, the kind that is obviously great.

I would like to try something new but i prefer a book that can keep me interested from the begining. The books i compare my choices to are somewhat of The Hunger Games and the series, Runner,A Child Called "It", and The Giver.

I was really into it but the year ended and had to do a book review on it so I jus got a summary to finish my project. I really want anything that grabs you from the beginning. I like a lot of conflicts in between character, so if you have any suggestions that would be great!

I also love character driven books, characters that have many odd and eccentric quirks and interesting situations that that they are faced with and how they respond. I also want a good poetry book or even a good romance, just to branch out more and explore new and interesting places in literature.

try the hunger games, the slowest part is the first part when she tells you her name and all the rest is action after action with a pitch of twisted romance. give it a try.

LaQuita Stewart | 2 comments I'm looking for a book that talks about peoples personal life from a mans perspective doesn't matter what background

Jonfred Christian Diamzon I like to read books with lots of actions, gore, horror (Probably the only genres I read).
Anything that has a lot stomach curler, eye blasting, red paste of delight (Do I need help or something?) is okay with me.

That or maybe the exact opposite might be a good change.
