Reina and Memphis moved through the throng with people. Young and old, Black and white, humans and other races, mingled outside a huge building. Reina sighed with obvious distaste as Memphis pulled her behind him. People, mostly men, stared after her, often their wives', girlfriends', or even their children had to snap them from their trace.
Memphis went straight into the large building despite the people's cries behind him. The guard or Renagald (means "bad-tasting" in his language) as he called them, and he had to stop to get Reina's attention.
Instead of taking the elevator, he went up the stairs, moving vehicles he refused to operate, even if it was only up. Within seconds, both were at the roof of the building, looking down at the world while the wind blew

Ollie didn't like crowds; he hated apologizing when people squelched into him. Keeping to the side as much as possible he oozed his way towards the front door. His eye roved the multispecies crowd, spying a few other Yuglavii, prominent by their distinctive shape and bright colours.

He at the chronostone on his wrist, he was on time, thank Plonokoon, squidging through the narrow opening he slid into the lift, and sighed as he flicked the up botton with his pseudopod.

"Mommy!" Luke called. Angel looked back to see he was having a hard time getting through the crowd. She knelt down and picked him up, shoving her way through, ignoring the delicious smell of blood. Later. She'd have time later. She was going to be late. She hurried inside the huge building, sighing in relief as the noise level dropped from painfully loud to almost silence. She hurried up the stairs, seeing the lift was in motion. Luke made giggling noises as he bounced up and down with each step.

Growling, Memphis looked into the buildings he hovered over, his vision was immaculous, he could see through anything, and anything I mean, clothes, steel or anything. People were in this building, but that girl was the building miles from this very spot.
"Reina, we need to move. She's there" He motioned with his head where.
Reina looked at the ground, she was tired of hearing about this girl. He didn't even know her name!

"I don't care if I don't know her name!" He roared upon hearing her thoughts, "Follow me!"
With 10 minutes they were near the building and looking upon it

"Why are we here?" Reina grumbled, crossing her arms over her overly large chest. Her mouth was in a grim smile.
"You have to ask?" He replied with equal distaste to the situation. His fangs wanted to make themselves known. He was hungry.
She played with the edge of her ear and looked around them, they were downtown as far as knew, atleast that was what her guide had said, "Didn't you hear that sc-" Her voice was cut off as her world was too.
Memphis merely looekd around to where Reina had been, her bracelet was on the ground, 'What the hell?"He commanded turning around pissed as hell.
He didn't hear anythign, he was knocked out.

Memphis came too some as the shackles were placed on his arms, and legs. His skin was sensitive to metal so he struggled visibly agaisnt the pain that came from them. His shirt was stripped of him and he was panting by the time he settled down and noticed the girl's howling.
It was her.

"Mommy?" Luke asked again. Angel hushed him. "May I be put down?" He whispered in her ear, very quietly. Angel nodded and set him on the ground, taking his hand instead. Angel led him up to the top floor, to a large window facing East.
"See it?" She whispered. Luke shook his head, hardly able to see over the windowsill. She picked him up and pointed to the building. "That's where we're going tonight."

"Lord Bah!" Terrance said, kneeling. "We caught someone trying to sneak in." He stepped aside to reveal Miniserie, who was glaring daggers and trying to weasel herself out of the shackles. She'd already tried shifting forms-they just shrank with her.

"Hey!" Memphis tried to get her attention, no one could obviously hear them except for the guards, so it was no use yelling. He felt a prick of pain in his chest and a long cut started appearing on his chest, blood seeped from it. The pain! It was like he was being impaled with glass. But then the pain stopped.
This made him remember his companion, "Where's Reina?' His voice was almost a whisper

((Whoa time out people can anyone tell me what's going on?))

Ollie didn't have to have ESP to know that something was wrong, very wrongflattening his gooey body againt the ceiling of the lift he began to seep through the service hatch.

As the lift reached it's destination, he saw two reptilian guards, enter the lift, glance around briefly and exited before the doors shut.

Ollie oozed over to a nearby ventilation shaft and slipped through the slats moving soundlessly through the air chutes.

Glancing out through the mesh cover of a room, he was suprised to see two Dampheres, they were captured, and they looked in pain.

Ollie liked Dampheres, particuarly because they were no threat to Yuglavii, as the members of his race did not have the plasma so craved by the humanoid species.

Slowly, he slopped down out of the duct onto the floor, making no noise, Yuglavii excelled at stealth.
As he slopped down the wall his cytoplasm took on the colour of the light greay wall, till he was virtually invisible.Closing hius eye so as not to have it visible and give him away, he allowed his sense of touch paint a picture of his path.

He slid up t one of the captives 'Psst, what's going on?' he whispered.

"Well calm down!" He yelled not meaning to yell at all. Blood ran down his chest and though he was hungry, he wasn't about to drink his own blood, it would be...sickening.
"I want to get to my sister too but doesn't look like I'm yelling does it?" He growled

Terrance grinned. "Excellent." He took Miniserie and dragged her down the stairs to the cells.

"Why are we going there?" Luke asked, scared and excited at the same time.
"We're breaking in. Some old friends of mommy's are in there."
"Really?"
Angel shrugged. "Well, sorta."

Terrence shoved Miniserie into the cell, not even noticing the Yuglavi in his haste.

Miniserie barely managed to keep her balance and backed up into the corner, glaring at the others.

Luke grinned. "Do I get to come?"
"Do you want to? Do you think you could?"
Luke thought about it genuinely. He knew it was dangerous. "Yes."
"Alright then. Let's go prepare."

Terrence-as usual-glared anyone down who tried to look at him, and exited to gather some troops.

Angel and Luke hurried out of the building and back into the throng. It was almost nightfall.

Miniserie backed into the corner, watching him with sunken eyes. Great. A Damphere.

Miniserie shook her head with small, almost imperceptible movements.

Miniserie felt no pity for him. All she cared about was getting out. "How long have you been in here?" She whispered.

Miniserie cursed under her breath. Years? No way. She again tried to get out of the shackles on her wrists. She needed her hands to do most of her spells.

'Sorry about this.Ahhhccckk! Ptooooi!!' His acidic spit immediately eating away at the manacles that bound her, till with a hiss of melting metal they clanked off her.

Supporting her with his pseudopodia, he formed himself into a chair-like shape 'Now, where's your brother?'

((Well, here's what I was thinking. Angel knows your characters, or their relatives or something, so that's why she's trying to break them out. BUT I haven't decided if it's out of likingness or hate.))

The pretence of a meeting was just a cover if he got intercepted, as after all, as you say the building is not a prison.Say it took him and their contacts some time to locate them coz Lord Bah keeps moving them from holding site to holding site for some reason. Angel and Luke could be Dampheres unknown to Ollie, maybe on opposing 'sides' of whatever it is they are supposed to be opposed to:p))

Ollie allowed his features to slide into their normal shape.' Shi? do you remember me? It's me Ollie.' He whispered. 'Hicom sent us to find you, we didn't know where you were, but I managed to find you thank Googoolian. Can you stand? If it's those damned Lizrd-men we've not got much time.'

[Ross]

Ollie floated a plaspocket to the surface of his cytoplasm and retrieved a small blue capsule, opening her mouth and closing her nose he made her swallow it.' There, that should give her enough energy to get us out of this mess. Shi?! Wake up!'

Miniserie nodded, barely moving again, and started toward the door. If she could fit her hand through the bars, she could escape. The lizards would be none the wiser.
But-of course-when she tried, she was zapped and thrown back.

"Well then why didn't you?" She snapped.

"Obviously." She stood up, rubbing the feeling back into her fingers.

'You and your brother are in the clutches of Lord Bah, I've been sent to rescue you btoh, and by the look of things they're making ready to transport you offworld. Hurry we've not got much time!'

Miniserie retreated to her corner again.

[Ross]

'Stand back.' Ollie spat onto the electrified bars of Shiloh's cell, and sizzling and sparkling softly they melted.

'Wait here, I'll scoot out and see if the coast is clear.'Ollie flattened himself against the wall and turned the same colour. And peered round.

'Good to go.' he hissed.

[Ross]

'What?' Ollie looked back at her confused.

Angel hurried toward the building, keeping her head down. Luke was again in her arms, keeping his head on her shoulder like he was sleeping. He tried not to act scared. He wanted to be brave like his mother. And like he knew his father would be.

Angel and Luke watched carefully as the sun touched the horizon. "Okay. Now. Go."

Luke grabbed his small pile of rocks and ran straight up to the front gate, hurling rocks at the guards, although it wasn't very far. Every pebble fell short of his targets, but the point was to distract them. Angel took a less direct path, sneaking straight past them.

((I'm confused too... So I'm making it up, really.))

'OK, let's get you Dampheres outta here, but quietly, how many of the Dinos are here?' Ollie oozed around the corner and seeing nobody beckoned her on.
