Yz,So sorry to hear about your dad :( I hope you're able to get your passport without too much stress and can get back home soon.
Thank you so much for all the loving support you guys have extended. For now, I'm staying put. Can't do anything at the moment. I'm supporting my mother long-distance through daily calls. I might not make it to the funeral, but I promised her that we will have a separate memorial once I get there.
So, right now, life goes on.
Yz, I prayed for you and your family in my religion class today at school. Know you guys are in my prayers.

It's good you'll finally have the time to go there, even under such circumstances. Lets hope everything goes smoothly and at least you'll have time to spend with the rest of your family for a while.
Be safe, Yz. Good journey, and I wish for great new adventures as you settle again in the Philippines.
Thank you so much for all the kind thoughts and well-wishes. I'm flying out from Orlando on Monday morning and will be arriving in the Philippines March 2, Weds.
I won't have internet access starting Sat eve. That's when we cut-off our cable service at home. So just thought, I'll give everyone a heads up.
Just giving everyone a heads-up that my husband and I arrived in the Phillipines safely last Weds. Things are pretty hectic at the moment, so this is just a brief hello. I hope you are all having fun reading, and thanks to Shirley for launching both the Read-the-Month and Read-the-Season challenges.
