Yay, seriously yay. I got my first postcard. It's from Jonathan. A cool black & white picture taken from the Empire State building. You can see it's shadow.

Me too. I was begining to think you guys had played a practical joke on me. :)

Janine, thank you for the fabulous card! I love it. I feel mine will pale in comparison.Britt, you are as amazing as the beautiful woman on my card. Believe in yourself! I love those black and whites from the 60's. Audrey Hepburn is another stunner.
I just mailed mine today. Sorry for the delay and because they're not as cool as I thought they would be.
Don't worry Sally, mine were pretty lame. Not that I got to send you one. :(
:D Lets do it again and send each other one. I'll get a cooler one come Christmas and I have the time to drive downtown to the cool store.
A christmas card shebang perhaps?
I want to send a card to everyone on the list. not necessarily Christmas though. Some people I seem to know a little better and already have ideas for cards, others I just punted and would like to try again.
Me too. Britt was so miserly, only allowing us to send out a few cards while she got to send them out to everyone.
'Punted' in Australian slang means you 'ditched' them.

Ooo, I agree...let's do it again with everyone. This time I will try to find some cards that are less Texas cliche...I may actually have to leave the state to find them though.
Yes Gretchen ::glare:: my solo postcard is sitting here looking very lonely.
She did, I don't know what she was thinking. :)
the mail just came. i'm going to see if i have finally received a card.and i want to send everyone a card too, though i might have to find some cheaper cards this time.
mine were a pic a took of my hometown. think i will do some sort of homemade one nextsend me some more addy's britt
Alecia, I did take the picture. Those are in my yard. I want to send to everyone, too! Share those addresses, Britt. And, by the way, I got your card yesterday. All I can say is, "Right Bach at you!"
Sorry for my absence from TC - I'm still nursing a very sick cat, feed tubing taking over 3 hours a day.Well, since my job was producer and project manager, I always pay attention to due dates, and altho I haven't sent mine out yet, I've still got almost 2 days!
In addition to RAs which was great, I did get Britt's card - THANK YOU!
i received britt's card today. to answer you question: it came in the morning. sometimes there's extra mail in the afternoon, but most of my mail i get in the morning, usually around 10.
Larry, I sent your card today.Everyone, I'm gonna get the addresses to you sometime....before Friday. Papers!
My kids check for postcards every day. They send me a text to say whether one has arrived or not.
I only have Jonathans so far. :(

Kate - I finally got your postcard today, can you believe it took that long? Loved it! Unfortunately, I'm such a city girl it's been ages since I went mushroom hunting - they are all over the city of course but I'm a novice and don't know one over the other. I remember going chanterelle hunting once - YUM!
Alecia: I got your card today. I loved it. It looked vintage. Was it?Lori: It's been amazing how long it's take the USPS to deliver some of these cards. Our case is really spectacular as we live less than an hour apart!
Kate: Glad you liked it, it's not vintage. The little shop I got the postcards from specializes in unique gifts and antique-y looking stuff though.
I just got a text to say there's a postcard waiting at home for me. It's from Jackie.
