I didn't like this one at all. I liked it better when it was from Tally's point of veiw, and it screwed with Tally's character.
Oh yeah, I know what you mean...I didn't like how they made Tally seem so brutal!!
I LOVED the end, LOVED the book, HATED the popularity thing. I think they were making a point about popularity tho, in real life, how it rules lives, how everyone knows who movie stars are, but everyone else is 'extra'
i thought that he should have kept it a trilogy but it was worth the read though it was definitely my least favorite of them all. kind of pointless, definitely twisted and even kind of random with the whole cylinders of steel thing.

okay, so i originally thought it was because she was getting over zane's death, which i guess was still a factor. but i was thinking about what she specifically said, about how the last person she kissed died later on. soooo the reason she hasn't kissed anyone else is because she realized that she's living in a dangerous situation where anyone she knows could die. because of this, she is afraid to fall in love, in a way. the reason she hasn't kissed david is because she knows that -- in the situation they're living in -- either of them could die any day, so she thinks it's safer that she doesn't get too attached to him!!
YAY! now i am a very happy person. i didn't know why i didn't think of that before ... lol. XD

i didn't like tally-wa as much in Extras. She just seemed so serious and all 'adult' and 'grownup' and stuff and it bothered me. I liked her better in the first three. But other than that i really liked Extras, it was cool! And I wouldn't want to live with popularity points (it would be more pressure than living in normal society by far!) but I think it made their world better. So there was still something to the new society and they weren't just like us only with better technology.

I like how you think you know what the title means at the beginning, but at the end you realize it's something different entirely.
And I love how Tally went off with David at the end...because it bothered me when Tally said that she didn't kiss anyone since Zane died. WHY DIDN'T SHE KISS DAVID? But at least she is going to now.
