Hard to make? Really? Doesn't seem hard to create a war movie to me, gonna probably be something along the lines of Tomorrow; When the War Began:p

I just red the first one, and wouldn't the movie be aimed at teens, but be rated R for all the blood?

I loved it and I will read the rest, but there was alot of blood. Rue got stabbed with a spear.
Yeah there was kinda a lot of blood. Peeta got hurt and she regulary describes his festerimg wound and then he almost dies again at the end when the werewolf thing bite his leg off and he loses A LOT of blood. Also the other dude gets mauled by the dogs. Its pretty gruesome :p

yeah but I wasn't taken by the word 'muttation' for some reason, my mind just turned it into 'mutation' and folded it's imaginary arms saying 'that's that', but it was the HG version of werewolves:p

And despite dividing America in the districts I never got the scale of how big the locations were, they seemed tiny and not very specific, so it was a bit disappointing, I was kinda expecting clever references to former cities that were in each district; as such the world never seemed credible to me.

I suppose if you lived in the US you might be able to tell where the districts are located by tghe main source of employment in the area, like how Detroit might be in the Factory district and Washington is the Capitol. But you're not poor are you DR:p

I felt quite disconnected from the stroy at times coz there wasn't much of a sense of place, maybe that was just me though.
Yes i totally agree! That is what i thought of the story and that is why i didnt love it. I didnt really feel that i was connecting with the characters
I found that a bit repetitive but not as annoying as the hunger games formula which was used again and again, I mean it got boring by the second book.
