Author Pseudonyms | A Rose By Any Other Name
LOL, it's always Bree that does all the blogs/newsletters. I didn't put them on the list, as I've been getting the newsletters for years, so I never gave it a thought.

Was poking around looking at some books by Moira and realized - hey, two people, not one. LOL! :)
Read this on Nancy Gideon's website:Q Why do you write under other names?
A I’m very prolific and have written for several different publishers at one time. Sometimes they’ll ask that you take a pseudonym to separate your work for them from the other houses you’re writing for. Having more than one pen name allows you to get more books out per year and to write in different genres. I’ve written mainly under my own name, but also have published books as Lauren Giddings, Dana Ransom and Rosalyn West. If I publish in YA paranormal or suspense, I may use another pseudonym there, too.
Lauren Giddings ~ Dana Ransom ~ Rosalyn West = Nancy Gideon
Came across another at the end of the book. Sable Grace is the author team of Heather Waters and Laura Barone.
Rachel Caine is aka Roxanne Longstreet, Roxanne Conrad, Ian Hammel and Julie Fortune. Real name is Roxanne Longstreet Conrad.
I'm going to be updating the master list this next weekend, so if anyone has any others go ahead and post 'em. :)
JK Beck, Julie Kenner also writes as J KennerS.J. Harper is the writing team of Samantha Sommersby and Jeanne C. Stein
I know some authors have pseudonyms due to publisher contracts but some choose them to seperate genres so as not to upset their fans. They know the diehard fans will find them, but they don't like a historical fan to pick up their erotica & get shocked enough that they stop reading altogether. :)
Main list updated through this post. Thanks for all the names everyone. That Joan Swan was a terror to figure out. I kept getting the children's illustrator (which is what your post connected to also Michelle).
I finally found the right Joan Swan by searching posts for her name, clicking on a bookcover in one of the messages, linking to her from that book. I discovered her name in the author list has 2 spaces between first and last name. Grrrr!!!
Haha I've got a few Joan Swans'
so I never gave it a thought that there might be a kids illustrator, otherwise I would've linked her for you Daffodil :)
LOL didn't know Stephanie was in the closet!!! Those Dire Wolves or the MCs would of scared her out surely :)
LOL! It was the MC's that scared her out in the end. Turns out her M/M MC's and her M/F MC series will overlap a little. Which doesn't surprise me, given how much her Romantic Suspense series all overlap. :)

Dear DaffodilAm I ever glad I fell into this thread. I've joined your group to get the notifications and remind me you're here.
