Ruth Ferguson (ruthdfw) | 5 comments Hi, so there are 12 Fridays left in 2010 and since I am back into my audiobook mood I figured averaging two books a week would be doable.

So I will get a jump start on tomorrow by reporting that this week I finished The Imperfectionists and today I finished listening to Plum Lucky. Earlier this week I also finished listening to Jasper Fforde's The Big Over Easy.

Look forward to learning about what you are reading!

Carol Neman | 469 comments The Big Over Easy sounds like a hoot...I looked at the synopsis, expecting (or probably hoping) to find a book about New Orleans, but instead was intrigued by the whimsical tidbit of review. Thanks.

Ruth Ferguson (ruthdfw) | 5 comments Oops I'm slipping in the update and reading dept! I have finished The Hunger Gamesprobably my favorite book this year.

Then I checked out Steve Martin's The Pleasure of My Company which started out slow for me as I listened to the audiobook. I actually re-listened to a couple of chapters to confirm my perception that Martin was stilted in his performance. Later I realized that it was deliberate and really came to enjoy the book.

Finally the last thing I read was a bit of fluff (hey fluff counts!)To the Nines as usual Stephanie and Lulu did not disappoint in my search for laughs. The mystery was actually pretty good too in this Plum tale.

Will I make it to 25 books in 12 weeks? I have 18 to go before 12/31. The good news is that I have started a couple this month that I just need to finish. Thank goodness for audio books!

Ruth Ferguson (ruthdfw) | 5 comments OK I looked at my read book list and found more that I read this year: Hissy Fit– pretty funny; Agatha Raisin and the Witch of Wyckhadden – good fluff; Little Bee a good book that stayed in my head for days; in my top 5 of books I read in 2010.The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Millennium, #1)

OK so now I am down to 14 by 12/31.
