Okay so I finished City of Ashes and so loved it! I am not peeking at everyones comments until I get done reading City of Glass. I do have a bunch of questions. Such as.....What was the deal with the scar that got the Inquisitor all interested? Why did Valentine tell Clary that her mother had said he had turned their first child into a monster and why did that not sound like Jace? I also wish they'd translate some of the foriegn language phrases. Such as Mene Mene tekel upharsin which were the words that appeared on the wall during Belshazzar's Feast (Daniel 5:25), interpreted by Daniel to mean that God had doomed the kingdom of Belshazzar. Belshazzar being the King of Babylon. Literal interpretation by Daniel being,"Thou art weighed in the balance and art found wanting". Belshazzar was slain in that same night, and that his power passed to Darius the Mede.

It also provides the origin for the similar expression "your days are numbered."
I totally had no clue and had to look that up in Wikipedia.

Clary Fray just wishes that her life would go back to normal. But what's normal when you're a demon-slaying Shadowhunter, your mother is in a magically induced coma, and you can suddenly see Downworlders like werewolves, vampires, and faeries? If Clary left the world of the Shadowhunters behind, it would mean more time with her best friend, Simon, who's becoming more than a friend. But the Shadowhunting world isn't ready to let her go — especially her handsome, infuriating, newfound brother, Jace. And Clary's only chance to help her mother is to track down rogue Shadowhunter Valentine, who is probably insane, certainly evil — and also her father.

Is Valentine behind the killings — and if he is, what is he trying to do? When the second of the Mortal Instruments, the Soul-Sword, is stolen, the terrifying Inquisitor arrives to investigate and zooms right in on Jace. How can Clary stop Valentine if Jace is willing to betray everything he believes in to help their father?
In this breathtaking sequel to City of Bones, Cassandra Clare lures her readers back into the dark grip of New York City's Downworld, where love is never safe and power becomes the deadliest temptation.

I'll make a schedule. Between schedule and other books, I won't be able to manage making the DQs. So, if you don't mind, then could you please manage the DQs?

Oh. No, I meant wouldn't mind as in I wouldn't be against it.! I've never managed DQ's before. I wonder do people come up with them on their own (How?!O_o), are they copied from another form,... Never done it before and wouldn't want to botch it!

I haven't written DQs before too. So, I don't know much. I'll see if I can be of some help. And, there's no compulsion. Write those if you're able to otherwise normal discussions are great too. =)
