Give this song a shot. It may not work for you, but Tiersen seriously lifts my soul like nothing else.

Thanks. And Baxter, right now, the only songs that actually get any emotion out of me are Never Meant and Summer Ends by American Football. Thank you.

Oh snap, there it is! Elisabeth Fraiser, AKA the best female singer ever!

Julian Moreno (emmieloowhoo) | 7315 comments Augustana - Boston

I noticed that Alaska--while it's a great song--goes against my way of thinking, so I'm listening to this now. AND I APPRECIATE IT. At least, I'm telling myself I do. I hate lying to myself. But sometimes, it's the only way to keep living.

Different songs work for different people. I just like the calming nature(no pun intended) of it.

Julian Moreno (emmieloowhoo) | 7315 comments :) Yeah.

We The Kings - Skyway Avenue.

Pandora, I've missed you. I really miss you at about 2 AM. And I miss summer.

Yann Tiersen - La Valse d'Amelie

Well then...this confirms it. Seeing Tiersen live would be like finding a fairy in the woods. Or something akin to it in musical form.

Eels - Things the Grandchildren Should Know

This song man. The lyrics just connect with me.

"I do some stupid things
But my heart's in the right place
and this I know."

This is the most hilarious song about incest I've ever heard. Even better, it's about Harry Potter.
Gred and Forge - Brotherly Love

If you think about it, the lyrics are kinda sick. XD XD
I would never want to see a three-way with Percy, Ron, and Ghoul.

Gred and Forge - Fred's Dead

To be honest, this is one of the saddest songs I've ever heard.
