i think that the quote was just humor releif. it WAS funny, after all!

he's probably talking to bella... anyone else and he would have been able to already read their mind!unless it was alice and she was distracting her mind by translating something into swahili... :)

i don like it!about the jasper quote. here's my sister's theory, i think it's good:
since bella is immune to the other's powers, when she becomes a vampire her power will be that she can take away other's powers. so, jasper is flummoxed and confused, because she unintentionally took his away!
what do you think?
