Amy | 7 comments The initial conflict in my book so far is the grand daughter of a convicted "Witch" is smuggled out of her village by a friend of her Grandmother after she's convicted and hanged. The friend is described to be of high social status, but is never made entirely clear how she's connected to the grandmother besides making up for a debt. From that point, the main character is told she is going to be placed on a boat in the direction of America. My character seems to be pretty cold emotionally but intelligent at the same time. Her ability to pick out herbs with medicinal properties is an example of her extensive knowledge. So far, the book is relatively fuzzy plot wise, but is, at times, a learning experience. I can already pretty much guess the outcome of the book so far though, which makes me a little less enthusiastic to finish it.

The main character of the story seems pretty intresting. although the plot of the book does seem kinda confusing, it'd be intresting to learn more about this character, Doctor Manette.

This sounds like a pretty good book. I wonder if its like the holy grail. And if your book somehow involves relidgion.

Jeff | 1 comments The initial conflict in my book is that there is a group of women that are waiting for the arrival of the arch bishop. These women are in a chorus where they sing about an evil power they feel in there life. They believe that the archbishop gives them strength and they are very excited upon his arrival.the more they think of it, the more they realize that the pats seven years has been awfule and they can not wait until the archbishop comes and "saves them" from the evil force.

Bradleyy | 7 comments Im reading Murder in the Cathedral by T.S. Eliot. I thought when I first got the book it was going to be a thrilling mistery book, but it is a drama. The plot is Issues of faith and common goods.
