Nobody can edit Goodreads author member's profiles except for the member in question. Supers cannot do it.
The author member can be messaged with suggestions, but that's all anybody else can do.
Funny, I thought I saw someone make the same request the other day. Well, I sent a message to the author, so hopefully she'll fix it herself.So there's no recourse if GoodReads authors do things incorrectly?

Well, Goodreads staff could do something if they felt it was required. But supers cannot.
Apparently Melody just fixed it, so now I am very confused.
So am I!Maybe rules have been changed.

You can change each individual listing of the author on the books. Since there were only three (edit) books listed on the duplicate profile it was (edit) not a very daunting project. Rivka, however CAN merge stray profiles into Goodreads' author's profiles.

Okay, I did know that. I thought the request was to enhance the author profile page. Thanks, Melody.
No - her link was to an author profile page including books by a Goodreads' author with the last name first. You couldn't just correct the spelling of the author to make them merge - but you could correct each individual listing.
