I'm halfway through Perfect Match. As usual, Jodi takes you in one direction and then things change dramatically. What do others think of this one?

This was one of my favorites by her. It has been awhile since I read it, but I remember being drawn into it rather quickly.
I really liked this book. There are some really good twists. I believe this was one of her books that I didn't really want to put down (there are several!).
i really want that book! i cant find it in my country! =(
I'm reading this oen now and I'm loving it. I'm finding it hard to put down!! I keep sneaking away from the festivities to read a few pages! hehe
LOL...Ashley that is sooo me! I won't leave the house without my book. What if I get stopped by a train...or hit by another car and have to sit and wait for anything? Can't do it! And I will be the one sitting in the corner at Christmas or other family gatherings reading being antisocial. Enjoy!!!
My fifth book read from JP, but not one of my favorites. I think it's mostly because I didn't care much for the main character, Nina Frost. I thought she was too self-righteous. Of course, having her son molested is a horrible thing that she tried to fix at any cost....but killing a man, and killing the WRONG man at that?! I don't know...I didn't like that she basically got off without much punishment.I really liked her husband (and what a twist at the end!) and loved that Detective Ducharme was back (from Nineteen Minutes). As usual, I think JP writes from a child's point of view in a fantastic way.
I really really enjoyed this book. It kept me on my toes.

It was actually my least favorite, possibly because I didn't care for the main character. I also thought that at times the book kind of dragged on, and it took me much longer to read this one, while with her other ones I can finish in 2-3 days, this one took about 2 weeks. Eh, can't love em' all right? lol.

As a matter of fact, I've felt that way about a few of the moms in her books...they just have some kind of edge that makes them unreasonable to the others in the story. How driven the moms were in "My Sister's Keeper," and "Handle With Care" sometimes made them blind to the needs of their other kids, spouses and friends. I would sit there and think, "But they need you, too!"

I mean, how can you have a child, tell them you love them, and then go to court because you think they shouldn't have been born? she weasled her way out of alot of questions during the trial and it aggravated me. Also, how much they left about Amelia bugged me too. I've decided to take a break from Picoult...while I love her writing, too much of it gets a little old after a while, reading about trial after trial, you know?
