I am a huge fan of Julie, I just reread all her historical, the other authors I reread is Linda Howard and now doing a reread of Robyn Carr's Virgin River series which I just love, those heros are big, hunky marines who love their women and will do anything for them.

Julie Garwood & Judith McNaught

Early Jude Deveraux reminds me of Julie Garwood. I think the sense of humor is similar and the heroines being kind of oddball.
