Epsilon looked up. "Oh," He said, not realizing that. He thought what he would do for the night. It was only his second day remembering anything, and last night he had spent the night in a park.

"Not if you pick a good tree. Oaks are some of the best."

"Why? Wood is wood." He stifled a yawn.

"Pine has prickers and is very brittle, and some other trees aren't a strong. Oak has broad limbs and is very comfortable."

"Oh, okay." Epsilon said. He was still a little confused, but whatever. He was confused a lot of the time these past two days.

"But I think that a cave is always much nicer."

"Unless it's infested with animals."

"Of course. I would never enter one of them; that would be intruding on the animal's home."

Epsilon laughed. "Not what I was thinking, but okay."

She fiddled with her backpack straps, unsure of what to say next.

"Um, do you think maybe I could come with you? Just because I have nowhere to go. At all."

"I don't mind. But if you come, you have to lead the way. It's a custom in my land." she explained.

"Um..." Espilson hesitated. "Kay."

She nodded. "Thank you. I know I'm in a different dimension now, but I still want to follow the ways of my kingdom."

Epsilon led the way to the forest, the girl following him. ((We'll just say the other girl followed him too, kay?))

Saffy was only a few steps behind, looking around her at the civilization.

Epsilon was pretty much walking blindly, only using the girl's vague pointing to guide him, and so he relaxed quite a bit when he saw the trees.

Saffy smiled when the reached the treeline, quickly climbing one of the large, thick-limbed oaks.

"How can you tell it's an oak?" Epsilon asked.

[Dovewing]

"The shape of the leaves, the structure... all trees are different. That one over there is a maple, and over there is a birch..." she pointed out the trees.

"Huh," Epsilon said. He climbed up after her.

She sat on one of the thicker branches, her back against the trunk. Her eyes were closed as she listened to the natere around her.

Kira didnt climb the tree, she sat nearby a rock pool and looked at the fishes swimming by..."ummm..."

Saffy just listened, the sound of the animals and the leaves stirring starting to form a melody in her mind.

"What?" Epsilon asked down to the other girl. He settled in a branch that was close enough that he didn't feel so alone, but far enough away that if he fell he wouldn't take Saffy with him.

As she listened to the sounds, she started to drift off to sleep.
