I really liked it too, and was glad I could get it from booksfree. I gave all three books four stars.

Anne (booklover6) Yeah that's about the only place you can get it now, except maybe ebay or a swap site.

Both of those are good. Looks like I'll have to use ship next to ever get City of Ghosts. City of Ghosts (Downside Ghosts, #3) by Stacia Kane

message 7: by Angi (new)

Angi | 7 comments I've heard good things. I can't not use my "ship next". lol I try to save it but there is always something I want that I just can't wait for. :))

Angi | 7 comments I'm currently reading Unholy Ghosts (Downside Ghosts, #1) by Stacia Kane :)

Anne (booklover6) Now reading The Dark Reaches by Kristin Landon. Also have The Return of Patrick O'Rourke to read next.

I've decided to use Ship Next to get Skyfall by Catherine Asaro. Though I won't get it until I return the above books. But I want to read the series in chronological order, and that one has been at Medium for a while.

Expecting another pack of 2 next week. It contains The Doctor's Patience and Nocturnal

Katherine | 3 comments I am reading the Tory Widow by Christine Blevins. The Tory Widow by Christine Blevins I read the Midwife of the Blue Ridge which was excellent and this one is turning out to be good as well. Midwife of the Blue Ridge by Christine Blevins

Katrina Waiting patiently for The Spellman Files The Spellman Files (The Spellmans, #1) by Lisa Lutz and Dead Canaries Don't Sing Dead Canaries Don't Sing (Reigning Cats & Dogs Mystery, #1) by Cynthia Baxter and even though it was "shipped" on the 14th I probably won't see them until the first week or so of November. I might luckily get it sooner but it took my last shipment like 14+ days to get here.

Finished Alpha (Shifters, #6) by Rachel Vincent . Reading Frost Moon (Skindancer, #1) by Anthony Francis .

message 15: by Peaceful (new)

Peaceful (kokopelliama) I'm up early watching the movie "Waiting to Exhale" so that I can finish listening to its sequel, "Getting To Happy" this week (audiobook). Terry McMillan is the author. Both are really good.

I get the sense that a lot of Terry McMillan's emotions from her own recent personal struggles (marriage to a guy who later disclosed that he is gay) flowed into "Getting to Happy". Awesome multi-person narration as well, featuring Terry McMillan, S. Epatha Merkerson (Van Buren on "Law and Order"), etc.

Good stuff!

Yogi (yogiplayground) | 3 comments I'm currently reading Woman in Red by Eileen Goudge it's starting off pretty good.

Some good books that I've read in the past few months are: If She Only Knew by Lisa Jackson, A Lesson Before Dying (Oprah's Book Club) by Ernest J. Gaines, Wet by Joylynn M. Jossel and The Ex Files About Four Women and Faith by Victoria Christopher Murray.

I'm waiting on A Lover's Dream by Altonya Washington now. I have reached the maximum amount in my queue so I will have to revisit this thread when I've read a few more books so I can add to my queue! ha!
