Jasmine cleared her throat, again. "I suppose someone ought to tell Chiron," she suggested quietly.
"I'm totally awesome. Did you notice that the heroes just came back?" Cullen said, waving out to Deitra with a foolish grin plastered on his face.

Deitra gave him a glare, then turned to her sister. "I'll go."
"Oh, my gods, no. Way," Cassidy grinned. "I so-- she's alive..." Realization hit her strongly as the girl stared at Deitra.

"You'll get to the cabin and I'll go," Jasmine said. And without waiting for Deitra's response, she turned on her heels and walked away, her mind reeling. She's alive...
"Yeah..." Cullen trailed off, his grin fading into a crooked smile. "I thought...y'know..."

"Yeah..." Cassidy trailed off, rocking on the balls of her feet. "Cullen, stick out your arm."
Deitra rolled her eyes, but for once, obeyed. Hands still shoved in her pockets, she headed off without a word.

"Don't hurt me," Cullen warned in a mocking-whine, holding his arm out. "What are you going to do?"
"I'm not gonna hurt you," Cassidy snorted, rolling her eyes with a grin. "I'm just gana do this..." With that, she grabbed his wrist, repetitively squeezing it.
"What in Hades are you doing?" Cullen asked, raising a brow at her in confusion. Even for him, that was pretty weird.
"Gahhooohhkay," Cullen said, pulling his arm back to his side, eyes widening. "That one was pretty awkward," he added, flexing his hand as if to make sure it was still there.
"Favourite reaction yet: this kid just looks down at it and goes 'That's disgusting. Technically, that's impossible since starfishes can't do that.'" Cassidy smirked.
"Wow, he must really know a lot about starfish," Cullen said with a low chortle.
Cullen said nothing, mostly because he had had no idea what to say. "Well..."
"The heroes are back," Cullen repeated, being left with not much else to say.
"D'awwww. I wanted to see if they had brought back any spaiders," Cullen said.
"Ah, I see." Cullen stood there for a moment longer, then said, "I'm gonna go now. Have a nice day, b*tch."
"Bye, b*tch. Go have starfish hump someone's arm and watch their reaction. It's hilarious." With that, Cassidy walked onwards.

Cassidy hummed along to the rather dark music that played in her ears. She hadn't taken notice of Peter, though if she had, she gave no sign of it.

Iviana (The Sign Painter!) wrote: "Cassidy smirked, and glanced down at the screen of her iPod."

"Oi," Cassidy muttered, pulling out both earbuds and wrapping them tightly around her iPod.

Deitra crossed her arms, indifferent. "It's great to be back." Not really. The entire silent-pause-then-shock was, quite honestly, not shocking to her.
"That's disgusting," Cassidy stuck out her tongue. "Oh well. I'm fine, thanks. And you?"
