Deanna Mcgaughey-summers | 2 comments I would be up for "American Psycho" or Glamorama (haven't read; heard it's good)

Sue Conlin (suec1010) | 1 comments American Psycho sounds like it would be good. Haven't heard of Glamorama.

Deanna Mcgaughey-summers | 2 comments Glamorama is another one of Ellis's books. I've heard some people say they enjoyed it more than American Psycho and some say they enjoyed it less.

Vittorio Camardo (Camardo12) | 1 comments I just finished American Psycho. I really enjoyed the book. Did anyone hear read Rules of Attraction by Ellis? If so, how was it?

message 6: by Phil (new)

Phil | 1 comments Bret E. E. is my new favorite writer. I read Rules of Attraction a few months ago and it was amazing and im currently reading American Psycho. Great social satires (both books). Lets get this group goinnn

Kerry White (allelomimetic) | 2 comments I've read all of Bret Easton Ellis & Chuck Palahniuk's books.

American Psycho (what a delightfully macabre read!) and Less Than Zero are by far my favourite BEE novels.

Rant and Invisible Monsters being my favourite by CP.

Glamorama is a very good read, if you're a fan of BEE.

Steve | 1 comments 2 good ones I read lately were Iain Banks - The Wasp Factory and Jonny Glynn - The Seven Days of Peter Crumb. Not read any Bret or Chuck yet but working my way through the Irvine Welsh :)

message 9: by Kerry (new)

Kerry White (allelomimetic) | 2 comments I'm also reading some Irvine Welsh at the minute.
The Wasp Factory - what a good book!

message 10: by Cory (new)

Cory | 1 comments Yo, I just joined this group if you guys are still into this. I saw you were talking about BEE which would be good. I'd be down. Even Lunar Park would be good for a WTF character piece for a fictionalized version of the author himself.
