TV Shows
Me, too. Dinner is over, kitchen cleaned up and I'm getting geared up for the premiere of NCIS. Can't wait to see Gibbs and gang!
Didn't have any popcorn but I did have some ice cream :)McGee sure lost some weight. Looks almost too skinny now.
So what do u think the G stands for in Callen's name?
Greg? Gordan? Gary? Gray? Graham? Gino? Gerry? George?
I only watched the first 2 or 3 episodes of Glee then stopped. I don't remember why. Based on everything I've heard today, maybe I should start back. The season premiers of Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice are tomorrow night. I love both shows, but I don't know if any one will ever get an HEA. :(

Hi Nissie! The second half of the first season of Glee was much better than the first. You might like it better now- the music is really great, and the writing is very clever, with a bit of angst and heart thrown in.
I'm not really sure if it fits well with "HEA," but I am SOOOOO (so, so, SO - a lot of sos, LOL) excited that Supernatural season six airs tomorrow!!! I ADORE this show to the exclusion of all others! :)
Thanks Pamela!I'm bound and convinced Supernatural WILL have a HEA! I'd be devastated, yet again, if another favorite show of mine ends tragically. Angel being the single worst example "they-did-NOT-just-end-it-that-way!"
Thank GOD there's a Season Six! Otherwise, I'd be utterly depressed with how it originally looked like the first season was going to end, LOL.
I'm so far behind on TV shows, I'm watching a lot of things on DVD. I did really enjoy the season premiers of Chuck and Vampire Diaries this week though (on the DVR of course;-)).

EVERYBODY seems to love it now! :)
Okay.... Super Natural....What is it about??????
Burn Notice.... it looks cheesy and the guy looks yucky .... does he look better hen you get into the show? We laugh when we see an advertisement for it. It looks embarrassing. Am I missing something? I am always looking for TV shows. Is it REALLY worth watching????

Burn Notice is one of my must-see shows. Hubby got me into it. Even my daughter likes it. But I must say that if you have never seen it and don't know what's happened in the past shows it may not make much sense and may not appeal. But basically it about a CIA agent who gets "burned" and ends up in Miami with his mom and an old girlfriend and a ex-Navy guy and they start out trying to find out who burned him and why and also they help ppl who need them. The season ended last year with him finally getting back in the CIA. So will he stay or quit or what? Never seen Supernatural so can't say.
I would buy the series from the beginning. We only have dvd players so we are always on the look out for good tv shows. I was always afraid to buy Burn Notice because of the guy who is in the. He doesn't look like my cup of tea.... I am so shallow. But I know I have not liked people in the past but have found if the character is good and the acting is good I can get past the appearance.
I go through periods where I watch Burn Notice more than at other times. Good show. Haven't watched it lately. My TiVo will pick up the new show tonight. :) So, it's good enough to schedule it as a "season pass".
Oh! Me, too! Can't miss it. Some of the greatest characters EVER! Thanks for the visual, Lisa Kay! Now I'm dancing, too :P
haven't watched White Collar yet. Hubby controls the remote most of the time and its not a show he has stopped to watch yet. love the video!!!
Did anyone besides me think the ending of Burn Notice was a little too convenient? SPOILER ALERT!!! (view spoiler)

I've been following a couple of cable series, but they have all had their first season final episodes and it will be a long wait until season 2. Game of Thrones was amazing, The Borgia's was also good and Camelot was average - but ended with a better than average episode.Looking forward to the next season of Spartacus and Dexter.
Man-oh-man! I am behind in my Burn Notice viewing. I haven't watched much TV lately. Just going through a phase, I guess. I'll have to check it out and get back to you, Pamela.

I'm hooked on "The (Next) Food Network Star". I was totatlly bummed when they changed the name (took out the "Next") and my TiVo missed two shows. No announcement, nothing! **sigh**

I hated that Khal Drogo got killed off so soon. He was a pleasure to look at!!

Two of my favorite shows are finished CSI Miami
CSI New York
I usually love the fall season because that always come out with new T.V shows . This fall they came out with some good ones. Here are some of my favorites.
Sleepy Hallow
Reign
Once Upon A Time In Wonderland (it's the spin off of once upon a time)
Dracula
The Originals (spin off of Vampire Diaries)
It took some time for me to warm up to OUAT in Wonderland, but I liked it. Still prefer the original OUAT though.
Will anyone be watching the blacher that will be on this weekend. And. Did anyone here about the girl that was on the blacher a couple years back who killed herself
I SWORE I wasn't going to, but I ended up watching Death Comes to Pemberley. It's based on one of those 'sequel' Pride and Prejudice books, and it was made by the BBC. You can watch it on YouTube if it hasn't been on television in your country yet. It's nowhere near as bad as I thought it was going to be. Plus, you get to see Elizabeth and Darcy being all married and stuff. :) I really liked the casting, even though the Lizzie looks nothing like how I pictured her.
I know this show is over, but it was possibly the only show I ever gave a chance to, seeing that I typically don't have the patience to watch long series (this is the same in books for me unfortunately :'( ). It stars my dear Lee Pace as Ned the piemaker in Pushing Daisies. I don't understand exactly why they discontinued this series but they had good ideas and a large fanbase (well, it seems that now they do). Has anyone heard of this series before?

Lisa Kay wrote: "Ah... never heard of it, Sonya... but good to know!"It's based on this book:
It's going to be on in the US (on PBS) this year.
I don't think I'll ever read the book, but it was one of the better period dramas I've seen recently (even if the ending was a little cheesy!). Of course, not everyone likes it when people mess with Elizabeth and Darcy!

Oh I've read the book and enjoyed it. Hmm, I may just check it out. Thanks for the heads up Sonya!
