Found this "author" when looking for a book - does anyone know why these books are like this and if they need (or even) can be fixed?

This is another of these automated publishers. They gather data from various online sources and print on demand. The name of the "author" indicates that they have multiple contributors; see each volume's notes for details of who that specific volume's contributors are.

I'd leave that nonsense be.
