I know, Janice... Goodreads is such a great way to find books and enable my addiction!!!!
I'm going to recommend to you a few of my favorite series -
Paranormal Romance - The Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward
Since you already know about our dear Pamela, I'll also suggest for romantic suspense:
The Black Ops, Inc. series by Cindy Gerard
Historical Romance - The Wallflower series and the Hathaway series by Lisa Kleypas
And I know there are more, but I can't think of them right away.
I don't know if you're a member of the We Love Lisa Kleypas group or not, but I'm in charge of the challenges there and in preparation for November's challenge I asked the ladies to list their absolute favorite reads in several genres.
To FURTHER add to your reading pleasure, here is a link to that list. It takes up several posts and there are some very wonderful books listed there.

Yes, I know, just what you need - MORE books to choose from ;)

Yea what Dhes said ^^ lol
Yea what Dhes said ^^ lolalthough I'm not as huge a BDB fan (JR Ward) I like Lara Adrian better, I really, really hate those lessers... lol
I'm a breed ho too. But I'm trying to figuere out who on earth Styx and Storme are.. lol I want Ely's book or Dog or Jackal or Cassie. I mean COMMON!

Erika, I remembered Styx right away. Remember in Dawn's Awakening, the Breed who was supposed to be guarding Dawn's room, I think. He was such a chocolate ho' that they said something about bribing him with chocolate. I'll never forget that! LOL

Thanks for all the recs girls! I'll be looking forward to reading all of them. I've been especially thinking about the BDB series. So many members seem to just love that series.

You're welcome, Janice. The BDB is one of only 2 series that I will buy in hardcover because I just can't wait for it to come out in paperback. Just. Can't. Wait.

I can totally relate. I have bookmarks in about 5 books sitting next to my desk :( I have been able to read a few Linda Howard books, though :)

I just finished Anne Stuart's "Breathless." Although these books were a bit different for me, I really enjoyed the heck out of all three in the "Rohan" series. I just loved Jacob and Jane in "Breathless" -- I wish there was a book starring them!! Jacob's character stole my heart and I wanted to know more about him and his life.

It was an okay read but I was a bit disappointed and it definitely is not a keeper for me.

Anne, I'm really looking forward to reading The House of Rohan series. I have them all here, just waiting for a chance to fit them into a challenge.

I had only read her contemporary romantic suspense books and wasn't blown away by them but they were entertaining. I didn't know she wrote historicals. I was quite surprised when all the raves and reviews started appearing in regards to the "Rohan" series. I

I think in March, being the 3rd month of the year, I'm going to create a Read A Trilogy or Three in March challenge. LOL

That sounds like a winner to me! Most of what I seem to read turns out to be series or trilogy type books.

I prefer the stories that have an end in sight. Trilogies, series, but there are a couple I'll keep reading until the authors die or stop writing, whichever comes first. LOL

I'm reading TEARS OF THE MOON, a book penned by an Aussie romance writer. Actually, I'm not officially reading it... I have friends here for a BFF weekend and am not reading anything till I get some time. But I've heard fantastic things about this book.

They're here right now. We just got back from the liquor store. Got Sue's iPhone on Pandora playing a post-grunge rock list. But somehow we're all sitting here with laptops and iPads. LOL!

We were just doing some research for MTM, but the results were not all we were hoping for. This research must continue because what we found can't be posted outside a XXX film.

Damn. That's just too bad, isn't it? Well, thanks for taking one for the team and doing this painful research.

I've just started Zoe Archer's story in Half Past Dead It's a prequel to the Blades of the Rose series that starts with Warrior. I'm curious not only about Archer, who has gotten some good reviews, but this story in particular because the "hero" is a zombie. It had to happen, right? Vampires are so last year. ;-)

. It's an excellent book. I began reading it in the beginning of November for the Bodice Ripper's group read. For whatever reason, at this point in time, I seem to be hooked on Romantic Suspense and Harlequin Presents. I will finish

I'm just started WAR ON THE RUN. It's about fighting on the frontier during the French and Indian War — a new book on the topic of Robert Rogers and Rogers Rangers, the fighting force on which MacKinnon's Rangers are based.

   What a sweet story.
 What a sweet story.
I'm trying to get through but Urban Fantasy and 1st person aren't my cuppa. Otherwise, the story is good, I just need to get myself into that reading frame of mind.
