Yes, heard about the political turmoil in Italy.

Will add the book to my to-read list. Thanks :)

I knew that Margherita pizza was the first basic pizza but no idea that it was the colours of the Italian flag. Wow! Thanks for the info. Keep updating us about such interesting tidbits.

that's how the name came? I was wondering why its called Margherita. This pizza is universal in our pizzerias (or is it pizzateria) too

Yes, it is the true story. The king and the queen went to Naples and the queen had heard often of the famous pizza of Naples but never eaten it because they lived in North Italy. So they called a pizzaiolo and he went to the castle to make the pizza (the queen couldn't go in a pizzeria, she was the queen!). She liked a lot the pizza and was very happy of the colours that remembered the ones of the flag and so in her honour the pizza was called with her name.
The plural of pizzeria is "pizzerie".

dely | 5485 comments Who of you has read The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield?

I ask because last week I went to the second-hand shop and I was browsing in the book shelves when suddenly a woman came to me with a book and said: "Can I advise you this book? (The thirteenth tale) It is one of the best books I have ever read and if I can I advise it to everybody! Seen that I have found it in all these disordered shelves I can't put it down, I take this opportunity to give it to somebody ". I said thank you and took the book because she had been very convincing and from her eyes I could understand that she really loved this book.

You know my tastes in books. Do you think it is a good book and that I will like it?

I don't know when I will read it. After The God of Small Things I will read War and Peace for a group read in another group and it is really very very long.
Then I have already other books to read because every time I go to the second hand shop I find a lot of good books; and I had done shortly before the order on amazon!
But I am also very curious to know how The Thirteenth Book is.
