Shae, There is a Q&A (Question & Answer) topic that you should post your question on. It's called, Q&A: Clockwork Angel/TMI: questions here! Here is a link:
http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/4...
I doubt she'd start answering questions in two areas. Oh, and please read all the posts (or at least try to use the search posts option to see if your question (which the above one was) was asked. We need to save Cassandra's typing fingers for writing books too. ;) It is crazy how many times repeat question have been asked. Cassandra is very sweet to answer the same questions so many times.
How exactly do you go about writing a book! especially ones that are so creative! What I mean to say is where do you get your creative ideas?
Cassie has a thread for questions. We are supposed to ask there, but these questions have already been answered, a few times. Please read through the thread Cassie set up 'Q&A Clockwork/TMI questions here'. If you don't want to read through it, at least do a search.
Lauren, there is already a thread called "Q&A Clockwork/TMI questions here", which Carrie and Lisarenee already pointed out. Cassie is answering questions there, not in this one.
I just read White Cat, well listened to it via audiobook and missed Jace's appearance. Anyone know what it was? It is driving me nuts!
Cassandra has no say in whether or not it is going to be a movie or not. Right now there isn't any plan for one.
Uhm, actuallythe rights to the movie has been sold, but they're still working on a manuskripht, and before they even think about making the movie, the manuskripht must be written.
There will be six books total in the Mortal Instruments series.
Me too :). The next installment, City of Fallen Angels, comes out next year.
i heard. I read the sneak peak of it. Amazing!! i really wanted to keep going but there were no pages. :( it was like eating my fav dessert and having noo more. haha sad rite
No, I feel the same. I actually have a long, convoluted theory about City of Fallen Angels. :) It has to do with Jace.
Yeah, I read the sneak peak a few times. I keep trying to find things I might have missed the first time around. Something is off with Jace. What do you think?
Taryn wrote: "I just read White Cat, well listened to it via audiobook and missed Jace's appearance. Anyone know what it was? It is driving me nuts!"Yeah, I didn't listen to the audio book, so I don't know which CD it was on, but in my hardcopy of 'White Cat' it was on page 172, chapter eleven.
hmm im not so sure. i was kinda confused. i read it over and over bi=ut. i think it has to do somthing with clarys mom.... ???? u think?
Julie wrote: "hmm im not so sure. i was kinda confused. i read it over and over bi=ut. i think it has to do somthing with clarys mom.... ???? u think?"Nah, I think Holly Black just wanted to slip Jace in there. I don't think Carry's mom was in there at all. Have I missed something? Anyway...
SPOILER ALERT (Although, you have already heard the book...)
'Kay so, in this chapter, Cassel is testing Barron about his memory because Barron's a (lowers voice) memory worker and memory workers get their memories wiped by blowback, so Cassel figures that he'll feed a bunch of fake stories and...
Here, I'll just write it out for you. I'll warn you, it will be ridiculously long (evil laughter).
"Okay, how about when you smoked all that weed that you thought was laced with something? You fell into the tub, but you refused to get out because you were convinced the back of your head would fall off. The only thing that would calm you down was reading out loud, so I read the only book in the bathroom-one of Mom's romances, called "The Windflower", cover-to-cover."
Right, now you're like "What does this have to do with anything?" Bear with me!
Now I'll jump to where JACE IS MENTIONED! Yay!
"That story happened to a guy Jace (<-) in my dorm. Sadly, no one had the "The Windflower on hand. Me and Sam and another guy in our hall took turns reading "Paradise Lost" through the locked door. I think it actually made him more paranoid. though."
"That's not true," he (Barron) says.
"Well, he *seemed* more paranoid to me," I (Cassel) say. "And he still gets a little weird at the mention of angels."
Sorry for dumping this all on you. But all this makes me wonder. What was Jace even doing there? He doesn't go to school! Sorry again for the really, *really* long comment.

OMG THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR THIS!!! I even listened to it again and missed it. You're the BEST!
Thank you!! I don't think people tell me that nearly enough, so you just made me the happiest girl on theblock!!
Don't worry; "White Cat" isn't a book by Cassandra Clare that you somehow missed. It's a book by one of her author buddies wrote. Holly Black is the author of it, if that helps.

Maria wrote: "I just thought of something. Do you think your audio book of "White Cat" is abridged or something?"Not abridged, I just wasn't listening well enough I guess. Maybe I will go and buy the actual book and look through it just because I like it.
