It took a long time for me to read. I'm so silly! I should read it last year when I got Surrender
How did I not know this group existed on Goodreads!?? Thanks for adding the link in your Defiant review, UM.I am a huge fan of Pamela Clare. she is such a wonderful author and writes fantastic historical romances and exciting romantic suspense.
Love, love, love, Pamela!
Hi, Lynsey! Welcome, welcome!!! I'm so glad you found us :) Yeah, Pamela's a great author, one of the few auto-buy authors on my list!
Thank you for the warm welcome Dhes & Danielle. I'm so glad I read Mackinnon's Ranger. Counting to read DEFIANT
Hi! Am Nandini(22). Am from India. I did not know such a group existed for a long time. But better late than never. I am en engineering graduate. I started out reading very late. I remember reading all the kids books by enid blydon et cetera when I was 8-10. Then I had a break for a long time. My family had not encouraged me into reading much. But Harry Potter changed that. Eventually again I drifted off from reading, then came Twilight. I am not a big fan for twilight except the 1st book maybe. I was definetely not into the one female in love with 2 guys at the same time concept. Must be the Indian culture feelings ruling me. But later I started off with Historicals that my friends suggested.
I started off with Julia Quinn's historicals and that is when I came to know all the fantastic authors out there with regencies, historicals, contemporaries, romantic suspense, etc! When I went for google recommendation, I used to see Pamela's name. But I don't know why I never tried them. I put her name in TBR. And its was nearly 2 months back, I read her Sweet Release. I was a goner. It had so much emotions, speed and such a page turner. I started hunting for more. My Sony reader has been such a darling. So thats the boring story of how I got into the romance novel world.
My fav authors are
Pamela Clare(Topping all others)
Julia Garwood(Historicals)
Susan Elizabeth Phillips(Chicago Series&Kiss An Angel)
Robyn Carr
Catherine Anderson
Julie James
Maya Banks
Jill Shalvis
My Fav historical by Pamela would be "Ride the Fire" and I really cannot choose the best from I-Team. As of now, am looking forward to Defiant a LOT! I have been suggesting the books to be read to all my reading friends. They have all started loving it as well.
Am not married, Pamela's books only keeps making my "Guy" expectations high. Will I get my own Julian/Marc/Zach/Reece or any of the other guys?!! *sighs*
Since I am very new to GoodReads, am looking forward to making a lot of new friends here. And its such a pleasure that Pamela talks to all of us. I've not seen a more humble, friendly and patient author who gives us a part of her time in between her full time jobs. Thanks a lot Pamela, for the amazing books.
Hi, Nandini! Welcome to Goodreads and our Pamela Clare Fan Group! I'm totally with you on not being able to choose an I-Team Hottie to call my own!!! Love them all!
It sounds like you have a very full life! My passion for reading renewed with Twilight and since 2007 not a single day has passed where I don't have a book in my hand. I LOVE reading. It's a hobby, an escape, a passion. It's so awesome to be able to travel to new places and do things that, if it weren't for books, I'd never be able to do.
Again, welcome!

Thanku so much Moi!(if that's what I can call) I don't really know if I have a full life since I just graduated but am jobless. But reading is keeping me busy so much. Music is my passion, but reading is getting very very close to music. I read Twilight in 2008 and I've been reading since then. I don't remember a day that goes by when I am not reading even a single chapter of any book. And nothing like books gives me pleasure. It has made me stop watching so many of my favourite shows, movies. Its like an obsession in a good way. I've always loved knowing different cultures in the world. French people, spanish people, american culture, britishers. I love learning new stuffs about them. I hate history as a subject to study, but I love history.(If you get what I mean) So be in through historicals or contemporaries, I appreciate all the research and information a book has about history. It never bores me!
Thanks again! :)

Yep!! That's why I love Pamela's books so much. She researches everything and so I always learn something new without feeling like I'm in school being educated. A great author, she is.
You can call me UM or Dhes, either is fine :)

Hey all, I'm Quynh from Alberta, Canada. I'm actually a newbie to Pamele Clare's books. (Yes, yes, I've been living under a rock). I've seen some of her books popped up on my feed from friends who are/were reading them, but I never really checked them out. I knew of her I-Team series, and it's on my to-read list. Though what really got me interested was her MacKinnon Rangers series. My go to books mainly lean toward RS, so I wasn't too sure about reading historical romances. I've read a handful (yep, count on one hand) of HR books, but other than that, I've never delved into it fully. MacKinnon Rangers were recommended to me by Jill, so I thought what the heck, let's start it once I'm done reading my last book. I'm currently on Surrender and I'm absolutely loving it!! Any author who makes me swoon over the heroes is a sure keeper. I'll probably go on a marathon of her books even while on vacation. Have to squeeze in any reading time I can get. lol.
Welcome to the group, Quynh!! Pamela is a writer in a class of her own. You can't go wrong with her books.
Enjoy!!
Enjoy!!
Hi everyone, I'm Lauren and I don't know how it took me so long to find this group. I've read the entire I-Team series and loved each and every one. I've also read Surrender and Sweet Release and can't wait to continue with both series soon.
Hi, Lauren! Welcome, welcome! I'm excited to hear what you think of Surrender and Sweet Release! We have discussion threads for all the books, so I look forward to chatting with you!
hello all, my name is Steamywindows, i just read my first PC books, the McKinnon series, back to back. I have not read the I series but after reading comments posted by this group, they will have to find their way into the TBR pile. I love reading, and choose romance as my "drug of choice" for a happy fix. One of my favourite genres has been historical but more recently i have been enjoying rs. I look forward to reading more of the fabulous Ms. Clare's work....Steamy
Thanks so much Dhes. It is awesome to find yet another amazing author! Isn't it wonderful how many really great books there are yet to be read???? *smiles*

Absolutely!! Pamela's one of my favorites, regardless of the genre. And I STRONGLY recommend her romantic suspense I-Team series.

Hello Everyone, I am Gina. I am big fan of Pamela Clare's I-Team series. I am a 5x Oral Cancer Survivor and reading definitely helps me get through the tough times. i am 49, going to be 50 in December and i am so looking forward to that. One thing a cancer survivor looks forward to is more birthdays! Happy reading everyone!
Hi Gina, welcome to the group! And congratulations on being a survivor. I can TOTALLY understand why you look at birthdays differently than many of us do.
I hope you'll give Pamela's historicals a try, too!

Hi everyone, my name's ~V~. I don't know how i didn't know about this group before! I started out with Pamela Clare's I-Team series, it was a slow start for me ...liked the 1st bk. alright but didn't love, liked bk.2 better...and ended up LOVING bks. 3, 4 and 5!! Those three bks are what made that series one of my all time fav. romantic suspense series ever! Last week i read her MacKinnon's Rangers series for the 1st time and i absolutely LOVED them!! I'm not typically a fan of historical romance but i think Pamela Clare may have changed my mind about that! ;)
Hi, V! Welcome :) Pamela Clare is a great author, regardless of the genre. I've not read anything I haven't loved!!!
Hi all, I'm Joy and I’m so happy to be here. I stumbled across the McKinnon series and Pamela Clare (where on earth have you been?) when I was scouring reviews in search of something else. Disillusioned with historical romance, my favourite genre I began to venture into paranormal looking for the spark I used to enjoy so much in HR. When I read the Rangers reviews I immediately ordered all three from the book depository (I usually only order one) that is how much I trust other romance lovers to know what would make my jaded heart flutter wildly with renewed enthusiasm. It’s so beautiful to read about heroes with honour and integrity and the courageous women they love. Sigh. If I could only transport back and be one of them I’d count myself the luckiest woman alive in the entire whole wide world. I could not put them down, reread paragraphs to make sure I missed absolutely nothing unwilling to miss even the smallest nuance. Thank you Pamela Clare from the bottom of my heart for reminding me why I love HR and to my fellow readers for recommending such a truly outstanding series.
