Hi Zandi, welcome to the group. Your quest for new authors ends here. You'll pick up so many recommendations from these threads that you'll be wondering how you'll ever get time to read them all!Yes we have a book club, at the moment we're reading The Witch of Portobello by Paulo Coehlo and The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. Towards the end of every month, Lori will make a thread where everyone gets to nominate a book they'd like to put forward for a group read. About a week later Lori opens another thread for voting - you get to vote for 2, so that you can vote for your own plus another you'd like to read. After another week or so, Lori will tally up the votes and the top 2 become the next group reads.

I like lots of books, from Steven King to Jodi Pivoult to Douglas Adams, and am always looking for a new (to me at least) author. Is there some sort of book club where we all read a new book together? Thanks!
