Okay:). I went and volunteered at the Texas Task Force who were training new people. They are the people who resue others from car garages and ruins and such after natural and unnatural disasters. (i.e, Haiti's earthquake, Japan's earthquake, hurricanes, etc.) They have this place called Disaster City, which is a collection of stuff like a crashed train, a collapsed parking garage, several ruins, a collapsed house, several crashed cars, a crashed bus, etc. Last night was a 'medical' rescue (they also have 'search'), so the volunteers were given these assigned characters for different medical scenerios to play out while they were trapped and given make-up. I had slight bleeding from my ears, a bunch of scrapes, and my face was all bruised up. Plus, I had a broken back... After we got our roles ready, the teachers hid us. I got to be in the train reck, in a car that was slanted off of another car. I had to go in the back of it, and it was all creaky and almost pitch black. Anyways, I had 'back injuries', so when the trainees found me, they had to put me on a stretcher and carry me out of the slanted train. We weren't supposed to break character(my character was supposed to be dazed and confused), but I kept grinning...... see, it's kinda hard to explain it all......But It was the most fun and exciting thing I think I've ever done.

It was pretty fun, I'd have to say. And fake blood got EVERYWHERE>.<

Yeah. But it was super fun. Especially because the last guy (he was underneath rubble) got stuck and they set all like 15 people on his rescueXP

I bet! it's hard to pretend to be in pain. I took a vacation to Disneyland. That was fun, but basically, I've just been waiting for school to end.
Cool! I'm going to Disneyworld, but I'm on babysitting duty, soooooo..... yeah
so that will be bitter-sweet.. Have fun though!!
