"Why hello there, lassie," Spencer said with a cheery grin, coming up from beside Anfisa with baskets stacked in his arms. "Whatcha doing?"

Anfisa cocked her head up at him. "I don't know if I should pick that," she said, pointing her gloved fingers at the strawberry. "What're you doing?"
"I'm doing my chores," Spencer replied, his accent thick and bright. "Go ahead and pick it, there's plenty more," he said, nodding encouragingly.
"I would love help," Spencer said, holding a weaved basket out to Anfisa. "Just pick the ripe ones and plop them right inside," he said.
Anfisa nodded and picked up the basket. "Okay," she chirped, a large smile on her face as she turned and marched off.
Spencer chuckled low and began to collect berries, whistling The Minstrel Boy while he roamed.

Anfisa picked up berries along the way, a bright grin on her face.
((Just to make something happen, Anfisa could fall over from the heat or something. She's wearing a thick coat and gloves, so it kind of makes sense.))

((OK. ^^))
Spencer walked not too far off, just to keep an eye on the little girl. But he seemed to get a little distracted, and wandered farther away.

As the sun beat down on the girl's dark coat, Anfisa began to struggle, sweat dripping down from her face. Her legs began to shake, and as she bent down to pick another strawberry to place in her half-filled basket, she toppled over, eyes closed.
Horror darkened Spencer's feature in the bright light of the sun as he caught a glimpse of the familiar coat, lying on the ground, still. He rushed forward.
Kneeling down next to her, Spencer saw the sweat on her forehead and immediately realized she had overheated. "Anfisa? Anifsa?" he repeated, taking the coat and gloves off.

Anfisa whimpered, lip quivering. Terror was etched on her face, cheeks a bright red. "Wh-What's happening?" she whispered.
"You overheated," Spencer said gently, pushing hair out of the child's face.
Why on earth was Anfisa wearing gloves and a coat in the first place? He didn't have time to wonder, but knew he needed to get her some water, anything.
I can't just leave her...
Torn between two possible options, Spencer's eyes scanned the horizon for another camper.

Tears slipped down her face as she clutched her arms with unnaturally bare hands. Her skin had dried, The sun now beating down on her exposed arms and face.
"I'm scared," she whimpered.
"I'm scared," she whimpered.
"You are going to be OK, I promise," Spencer soothed. He impulsively acted, scooping the little girl ((I wrote 'grill')) into his arms. "We're going to cool you down."
((xD))
"The Kitchen has ice. And water," Spencer amended, his thoughts scattered with panic. He calmed down, though, seeing as Anfisa was well enough to respond.

Emmalynn continued to pick the berries from where she sat on the ground. Some of them looked really good to her, but she ignored the temptation and placed each berry into her basket.
Lips pink from nibbling at the bunch of huge, ripe strawberries in her hand, Andromeda made her way through the fields in slow ambling circles. Sun beat down on the golden sheet of hair on her back, let down for once, her sandaled feet stepping over the plants that proved to be in her way.
Eventually the girl sat down under a large, wizened oak, contentedly chewing at her strawberries and looking every inch the innocent blonde fifteen year old she wasn't.

Hands carelessly shoved in his pockets, and basket he'd made himself on his wrist, Dylan walked through the patches of Lucious strawberries. His warm brown hair turning even lighter when the sun hit it, no doubt turning a dirty blonde by the time summer ended. Of course, the hair color wouldn't stop his hair from constantly falling into his friendly grass green eyes. A satisfied grin crossed his tan face as the Demeter boy caught sight of a ripe strawberry. His delicate, nimble hands gently picked it from it's stem, and he moved it towards the basket as if to place it into the half-full basket. A second before he was about to drop the strawberry into the basket, hus hand shot up abd popped it into his mouth. The sweetness of the red berry flooded his tongue, and he smiled.
"Mmmm, I'm pretty sure Chiron wouldn't like that," Andromeda said with a teasing smile, tilting her head to the side to survey the boy. She'd seen him around camp but hadn't yet gotten to get to know him-- perfectly acceptable, as she'd only been in camp for a year.
Dylan looked up, pink spots showing up on his cheeks and making his face warmer than it had earlier. "Then we just won't tell him, right?" He asked her, smile tugging at his lips. His eyes narrowed as he checked the younger girl out. Not checking her out, but studying her, looking for a name. None came to mind, which was strange brcause he never left camp.
Andromeda looked down at her strawberries again, lifting one to her mouth and chewing it deliberately slowly before answering.
"Guess not."
"Guess not."
He smiled in satisfaction before picking some more strawberries off, this time actually putting these ones in the basket. "So, I never did catch your name. Or cabin name."
"You didn't catch it because I didn't throw it," Andromeda remarked coolly, though something in the oddly dark blue eyes flickered with amusement.
"Andromeda Molland of the Ares cabin."
She watched him closely. Judging from his reaction she could tell what cabin he was from-- Aphrodites tended to squeal in shock and disbelief at her surname.

Dylan's lips twitched in amusement. The joke seemed more suiting now that he knew her godly-parent. "Ah. Alright, then. I'm Dylan, Demeter cabin." He stuck out his hand, offering for her to shake it. "Pleased to meet you."
She took his hand in her cool grip, transferring her strawberries to her left hand. Tossing her hair irritably so it stopped falling in front of her face, Andromeda offered up a crooked smile.
So he's never heard of Joanna Molland. Must be an old-timer, year-rounder, something of the sort.
"Pleasure's all mine," she drawled out politely.

[Avox, we're in the middle of a roleplay, sorry. And I don't think pets are allowed anymore. :(]
((She was just informing you... O.o)) Andy was right, Dylan had no idea who Joanna Molland was. He grasped her cool hand in his warm one, giving it a strong shake before dropping it. Seeing how polite she was being, he raised a chocolate brown eyebrow. "Are you sure you're godly parent is Ares?" He asked, only half teasing.
[ :) If you're asking to be kicked out of the group for disrespecting a moderator (especially after they politely told you not to join a roleplay, as its very rude to join without asking) then you're getting your wish.
I'm deleting you. I seriously cannot take your disrespecting any more.]

Andromeda gave a little ripple of a laugh before nodding her head. "Quite sure."
And that was that.
She motioned for him to sit next to her and grabbed one of his strawberry-filled baskets. Lifting one to her rosebud lips, she winked at Dylan.
"I'll help you pick another basket later."

((*Dylan ^.^)) "Promise?" He asked with another teasing smile, but sat down next to her anyway. His tan hand reached into the basket, pulling our a couple gem-like berries and popping them into his mouth.
Word of honour."
She drawled out the words with a cynical little smile but there was genuine mirth behind it. She glanced at him with dark blue eyes, raising a golden eyebrow. "How old are you?""

"Seventeen," he replied immediatly. He yawned, and his face was etched with a lazy smile. "What about you?" His hand dipped into the basket again, pulling out two strawberries. This time, he nibbled on the end of one.
"Fifteen and counting," Andromeda said suavely, taking another strawberry and licking the juice that ran from it down her chin as she bit into it.
"Been at camp a year. You?"
"Been at camp a year. You?"
((I'm sorry! I didn't see your post!)) Dylan chuckled, pointing to his chin. "Uh, you got a little something right there." He chuckled, and nibbled on the rest of the juicy red berry.
"I've been here for awhile. Few years or more. You like camp?" He asked, putting a finger in his mouth to suck off some of the delicious juice.
Emmalyn continued to pick the red berries. Now and then she popped one into her mouth. She smiled.
After a few moments, she picked up her full basket and left the strawberry fields cheerfully.

[It's OK ^^]
Not embarassed at all, Andromeda wiped off the stain from her chin, licking it off like Dylan did, giving him a wink as she did so. "Thanks."
To answer to his question she shrugged and looked up, putting a finger absentmindedly in her hair, sun glancing off the deep blue of her eyes and the shine of her hair.
"It was hard at first. Making friends when you have siblings like mine is tough, but I managed in the end. I love it now." She offered up one of her crooked smiles.

He returned the smile, though the sly wink had put his guards up. Please do not make this a repeat of what happened with Lee at the stables, he silently begged. Shaking his light brown hair out if his eyes, but with no results, turned back to look at the Ares girl with a sympathetic look. "Yeah. I've heard they're pretty tough. Are they annoying?" His thoughts went to his own siblings as he spoke. He loved them all, even Jasmine, though he didn't see her as often. He thought for a moment longer before realizing he was the bog brother of the whole cabin. That made him smile.
"They're not annoying-- well, maybe one," Andromeda said lightly with a little shrug, untucking a leg to stretch it out and smile faintly. She'd never had a tan before and she took a moment admiring the nice golden colour of her skin before continuing.
"But I love them anyway, though... well, you see, I'm absolutely inept at handling weapons. But," she said, raising an eyebrow, "I can see each and every single one of your weak points. I can beat you unarmed with one hand behind my back, even if you do have a weapon."
She said this with a certainty that made the possibility of a bragging tone null-- it was a mere, calm statement.

His eyebrows raised, and he didn't seem to noticed her long, ram legs stretching out by his. "That's...unusual. Though, you have a gift," he added quickly, grinning sheepishly. The second berry came to his lips, and he gently took a bit out of it, juice running down his chin in the process. Not bothering to wipe it away, her cast Andromeda a curious expression. "What are my weak spots?"
"Well, for starters, a sticky chin," Andromeda said with a rich giggle, tapping her own with raised eyebrows.
However her gaze took on a different, less casual view when those dark clear eyes searched over Dylan's body. A quick finger reached out to tap the spots that were weak, that she knew as a general rule were weak. That she just knew.
"Here. Here. Here, here, here... here."
She pointed to various points, places that were sore or bruised, as well as all the knowledgable parts of the body-- the jugular, three different points on his thighs, the back of his knees.

His hand wiped his chin, rubbing off any remaining sticky juice that could be left from his chin. His grass green eyes followed her tan finger in awe. She knew his weak spots, even the ones he'd never told anyone about. His ribs were always fragile, and sometimes sore from a terrible accident on the farm before it had been destroyed. He already knew all the obvious places, but couldn't believe she knew about his other weak spots.
Conciously touching his right side if tge ribcage, he looked at Andromeda in awe. "Wow. That's amazing, Andy. I can't believe you can do that!"
