Strawberry Fields
((Ehh, Nat's revengin Eddy soon anyway. If she knows about Maren that will just make her even more pised))
"Ah, Maren. There's a law that states freedom of speech. So you can tell me." Mallory argued, now dying to know what had happened.
"He? He who? A boy? Ooooh!!" Mallory said, and clapped her hands. She obviously took her words the wrong way.
"Oh. OH!" Mallory gasped, her brown eyes wide. There was probably only one other boy involved thing that could thus girl to be in such distress. Someone had probably harmed her.
"Who is it?" Mallory asked, her pretty face hard and angry. Her tongue traced over her braces, wincing when the sharp objects cut her tongue.
"Yeah. My sister, Alexa ran into the cabin bawling her eyes out because some Athena guy chose an Ares girl over her." Mallory shook her head, in utter disbelief.
"Mhm. Just an average day in the Aphrodite cabin. Any drama with your siblings?" She asked, running a hand through her hair.
She shook her head. "Not that I know of. I've been healing all day." As soon as she said the words, she covered her mouth.
"The scratch?" Mallory asked in uncertainty, then sge saw the words. "Oh, gods, Maren! That's awful! Did that boy do it to you?"
"That's horrible! Who would do something like that to a little girl? What does, 'say no evil' mean?" She asked gently, furrowing her eyes.
"Oh my gods! That's terrible, Maren!" Her eyes went wide, and her lip trembled as she thought of her being in Maren's place.
"I bet you can. I'm sure some Ares kids or others would help you beat this creep!" Mallory hissed angrily, crossing her arms indignantly.
"True...wow you're in such a pickle, Maren! How'd you get in this situation, anyway?" She asked, putting her long-forgotten basket down.
Maren shrugged. "I guethth I jutht thaid thome thingth to Dwake that-" Then she cut off. And she covered her mouth, horrified eyes wide.
Maren nodded, but as soon as Mallory left she sprinted back to her cabin, watching around her fearfully.
Emmalyn walked into the fields, her usual summer clothes were clinging to her skin by sweat. Sigh. Chores. Chores was the only thing Emmalyn did not like very much. At least, this was strawberry picking. The best chore in the whole world.
She started picking the red berries and placing them into her basket gently. After a moment of crouching and picking, she sighed and sat on the ground.

Anfisa stood in the middle of the fields, bent over and examining a rather plump strawberry. Her lips were set in an adorable frown as she debated whether or not to pick the red berry.

Maren sighed heavily and shook her head. "No, I'm not, Mallowy. But I can't thay why."
