this book is puzzling,is there suppose to be a puzzle were you put the circled letters together and find an answer??

I know I'm a little late to answer this question for you, but I wondered about that myself when I finished the book! After a little googling I found the answer (and I hit myself for not figuring it out myself!)

The letters you can find are: BAKSEIRATCEN

If you put them together and re-arrange them, those letters make: Beatrice Sank!

Beatrice is the boat that Violit, Klaus and Sunny left 0n at the end on chapter 14 of book 13. thats why they had the pictures of all the boat parts!

BEATRICE SANK is a potential, but there are some other possibilities.

BANKER ACES IT - perhaps some kind of reference to Mr. Poe. Hoewever, this seems unlikely since Mr. Poe usually doesn't accomplish much.
