Problem with duplicate author

Hi, I need some help here:
For some reason this goodreads author:
http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...
has 2 spaces in his name as if he's been disambiguated, but the other William Bernhardt with only one space:
http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...
is exactly the same person. I cant recombine them by renaming the second because the first one is a goodreads author. I could rename every book individually but every time a new book gets added it'll go to the wrong list.
Some super maybe can rename the first one to one space so we can combine all editions?
