Alyssa (lyssad87) | 974 comments I need help! I don't know what to buy! I only want to buy 2 of these books. That's probably why I'm having a problem. Lol.

Enclave (Razorland, #1) by Ann Aguirre Die for Me (Revenants, #1) by Amy Plum Divergent (Divergent, #1) by Veronica Roth The Girl in the Steel Corset (Steampunk Chronicles, #1) by Kady Cross

So which should I buy??? O.O

Off the list to buy
The Initiation and The Captive, Part I (The Secret Circle, #1-2) by L.J. Smith - I'm pretty sure I can get this one from the library when I'm ready.
Red Glove (Curse Workers, #2) by Holly Black

message 622: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments I've read Enclave (so has LLL) and we both gave it 5★. Although I think she loved it a bit more than me, still, great read. I want to read Die for Me and Divergent, so I'd pick one of those two. If it were me. Choices, choices, choices ... oh, sweet choices. :)

message 623: by Sandra, Kindle Operator Licence Required (new)

Sandra | 25908 comments Alyssa, are you going to be able to get any of them from your library. If so, buy something you can't get from there.

message 624: by Alyssa (new)

Alyssa (lyssad87) | 974 comments Good point, Sandra. Most of them are all fairly new releases, so I might not be able to find them at the library for a while. I guess it might come down to what I have to read right away or something.

message 625: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments Very good idea! Then you can read them all! :D

message 626: by [deleted user] (new)

I've read Die for Me (Revenants, #1) by Amy Plum and loved it. I can't believe i have to wait almost a year for the next book! :(

message 627: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments That's good to know, Kat. I've got it TBR. Sounds interesting.

message 628: by Daffodil (new)

Daffodil (daffodil--ripcranberry) | 2098 comments You obviously liked the first Holly Black book, since the second is on your list. That means Red Glove is almost a sure thing. On the other hand, Red Glove wasn't an automatic I-must-have-this-book-NOW, so maybe you could wait for it.

I like Ann Aguirre, but haven't read Enclave yet. It's on one of my lists somewhere.

Gee, how helpful was I? Sorry. You're on your own. LOL

message 629: by Daffodil (last edited Jun 12, 2011 02:59AM) (new)

Daffodil (daffodil--ripcranberry) | 2098 comments Picked up at Walmart while I was supposedly grocery shopping:

Everdark (The Dark Ink Chronicles, #2) by Elle Jasper A Cast-Off Coven (A Witchcraft Mystery, #2) by Juliet Blackwell Blood of the Wicked (Dark Mission, #1) by Karina Cooper

I haven't heard anything about that last one, but I picked it up and read the first few pages. Since I wanted to continue, it went in the cart.

ETA: Apparently I don't remember hearing anything about it. In reality, I added Blood of the Wicked to my TBR back in April. LOL. I see a lot that interests me and then some of them get lost in the sheer volume of UF/PNR out there.

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments LOL supposedly grocery shopping Well, hopefully they'll be filling reads. ;)

Cindy (eclecticfirefly) (eclecticfirefly) | 1237 comments Alyssa - I'm reading The Girl in the Steel Corset (Steampunk Chronicles, #1) by Kady Cross now. Liking it, but can't say that I love it. It's my first steampunk....

I would personally go with ANYTHING that references revenants.....and Enclave (Razorland, #1) by Ann Aguirre

Steph, were you replying to me or Sandra?

Perhaps I should have edited the quoted part, when I replied to Sandra....because now I see it "captured" the McKenna series

Sandra -- the 3rd Esri book will be out in February and the 4th will be April.

message 645: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments Both actually. I was referring to the McKenna series. :)

message 646: by Sandra, Kindle Operator Licence Required (new)

Sandra | 25908 comments LOL. I already had 4-6 of the McKennas, so I was glad to find the first 3. And I was glad there was more Esri's coming out as that series looked intriguing.

Christina (AKA Babbling) (babblingbookreviews) | 1242 comments Steph wrote: "Both actually. I was referring to the McKenna series. :)"

Thanks for clearing that up. I got confused and then I wondered if I caused the confusion. :D

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments No worries, Christina :)

Thanks, Sarah! I have just gotten that one and look forward to reading it soon.
