sigh perhaps I was wrong to think there could be a serious discussion with teenage girls about a teen romance:pI think I know why you jumped to the last book Zane, at least for me I was quite relieved to get to book three coz I was kinda bored with the second one.
Seriously the only good thing was the twists taken with Jace's parentage, but I thought it would have worked much better if Sebastian was introduced in the first book. Introducing him in the third was way too late as you couldn't really get a proper feel of his character. If he was introduced as a rival to Jace for Clary at the beginning or something the revelation would be more shocking, don't you agree?
Or are you going to dissolve into a puddle of giggles and silliness about that damn boy again, sigh...

its not boring but its not THAT interesting
it's predictable, uninspired and cliched, I only bought it for the intrigue and coz Meyer said it was good. Remind me never to trust that woman's judgement again:p
its different wen u predict it and wen u read it actually happening!U DIDNT LIKE THE SERIES?? :O :O
I did like it, but I was kinda disappointed with what they built up. I didn't get the feeling that Valentine's asault on the Clave was a big thing, and the ending was very anticlimactic, I mean it was over way to fast! It kinda undermines his ambitions and how everyone saw him as a threat ifhe wimps out so easily;pYes, you could predict the ending, but it was interesting to find out how it came about:)
And Sebastian was introduced waay to late so I didn't really care about him, it was like 'oh, who's this? Ahh he's a villain conveniently put in there so that Jace can get Clary without it being icksome and controversial, ahh. Oh he's dead, yeah we knew it would happen, shame.'
