Okay, rant coming up:

Argh, I'm so annoyed right now. It's really silly, but I suggested my roommates and I go see Thor Dark World today. My one roommate was really excited and wanted to do a whole girls' night, which I was looking forward to. Only this morning, she said her and one of our friends wanted to go see Ender's Game instead. I know it's stupid, but I'm pretty upset because I'd really been looking forward to seeing Thor, and right now my choices are a) pay a lot of money to watch a movie I'm not interested in or b) go see a movie by myself. I want neither of those options, and I'm pissed my Saturday plans have been ruined. I mean, the whole thing had been my idea first. The only reason I suggested movies was to go see Thor. And now, without asking, my roommate went a changed the plans. My other two roommates have backed out, so I'm on my own. GAH.

Privacy is always an issue, so I would suggest an app where you do not need to give out your phone number to add someone. Like BBM? and I am sure there are a few others that have a similar thing.

I just downloaded BBM on my phone. I didn't actually realise it was available for Android/iPhone. I thought it was Blackberry only. So I have a pin now, though I haven't really done anything yet or set up my profile. Who else uses BBM?

@Lannister - yeah BBM was just released for iOS and Android. Plus its free now, at least for non blackberry users. I have no idea if it costs anything to people who actually use blackberry.

Sarah, if you go to bbm.com in the browser on your phone, that should open a page with direct links to the BBM app download in the Google Play and Apple stores. You should hopefully be able to install it from there.
