the books had not much in common with the show ... except names and places. I tried to have a convo with my sister about it before I knew more about the show, she has watched pretty much each season, and it did not fit much at all. Which was a bleh moment for me.Times where I said something like "wtf that did not happen ... he did not marry her ... what the hell he died in the first book ... this show is stupid and that is why movies and shows made from books usually suck"

Yes, the reviewers that have ARC copies of Dead Ever After spoiled the ending re: who Sookie's HEA is. I figured it was obvious after reading the book from last year, it was all set up and everything. Still, people shouldn't have spoiled it.
pffffft don't start it zeenat ... it will just be a rollercoaster of dissapointments and confusion. If you stop at like maybe book 8 and make up your own story for the after it might be okay.I could not get a good article about it, I did not search very hard because I got pissed, but the few things I could glean from them just kind of confirmed what I was expecting. Damn dynamic websites and them not agreeing with my screen reader ... no way to explain how damn frustrating that can be. That and the stupid changes google did to their search page....
LKH pissed some people off with how she started to write, but atleast she didn't really spring a 180 out at her readers. Her changes kinda happened over a while not from 1 book to another. pfffft Build up a relationship from the first book then pssssssyke not really surprise!
I can't wait for the bitch fest when the last book (13) finally comes out next month ... should be interesting to read some of the comments.
Should have expected this from CH though ... seeing how she treated some HE's in her other series. I know she pissed some people off who read her Aurora Tea Garden series, including me, with finally giving her a HE and then killing her husband off in a nasty way in book 4 of like I think an 8 book series. It has been a while since I have read that series.

I think that at least with last year's book, people should have seen Sookie's HEA coming a mile away. I did like the books up until she changed everything with that hotel bomb and then what happened to Sophie Ann. Last year's book was boring as hell, though and I saw the way she was setting up that HEA. It was so freaking obvious. I'll still read the last book since I have all of the others and I may as well finish it, but it's definitely not one of my favorite series, anymore.
I didn't even read the last book beyond the last few pages. Is it messed that I noticed that any love interest that sookie had or could have had pretty much lasted 1 book and the only thing that lasted through all 12 books was her relationship with eric? pfffft Well there was sam, but it just wasn't as out there as eric. oh well! ... a vampire is a lot sexier than a collie....
Lol! Too true. I think it's weird who her HEA will be considering that there's never really been anything there since the first book.
I'm having so many uhm, shall we say, girl struggles? So I just had one of my friends come over and we're baking cupcakes and watching wedding shows. It's THAT kind of day.

Awww I love you guys. It's solidly those annoying body image issues that roll around at least once a month. Where I don't want to leave room but stay in bed with a book and a box of Cheez-Its.

The color gradient in the icing didn't come through as well in the photo as I would have liked, but oh well.and oooh, yes, a Tempt the Starts cake! I have no idea how I'd execute that...but I'm sure I'll think of something!
My Grandma is the baker of the family, and she taught my mother, and then I learned from both of them. I'm sort of obsessed with cake decorating shows, so baking complicated type things is a hobby of mine.
I'm thinking maybe red food colouring in a Tempt the Stars cake, to represent the demon realm. Or icing styled on Priktin's hair LMAO!But, you must post more pics of what you bake, Claire. They look fabulous.

Awww! I don't know if I could have left the kitten after he cuddled me. :)I've been cat-sitting for my neighbour this weekend, while she's away. She has a fat black monster, but he loves anyone who feeds him, so this weekend I'm his best friend. Come Monday, he'll go back to ignoring me again. Cats are so damn fickle! :D
I didn't want to leave him! He was so adorable and laid his little head on my shoulder. I want a kitty!Lol! Cats can be fickle, but they definitely love anyone that gives them food. Maybe he'll still be your friend. =D
I do love cats. I love their 'better than you' attitude lol. Fat cat will go back to giving me a haughty look then looking away. Unless I jingle my keys which he's learned is a sign that I'm going to let him in and feed him. Then he loves me. :D
I love them, too. And that they'll take care of themselves and come to you only when they feel like it, though there can be some really playful cats out there if that's the kind of cat that you want.It's so funny the way a cat can look at you like you're beneath them. I bet he does love you when you jingle those keys. He gets to eat!
I am sad since I can't have a cat living with my parents again. They are strictly a dog family. We have 3 dogs and the newest she-ra is a spoiled little brat ... I love cats and like them for a lot of reasons. One being I like to cuddle stuff and the dogs don't really put up with that ... unless I sit for hours and scratch their armpits/legpits ... do it once and you will have to keep doing it. I have corrupted many dogs with this.I miss my fat ass cat that I had Fasa (my ex bf named him ... ex bfs I have had have had the stupidest names for pets) I refused to call him mufasa ... he used to bring me presents if I let him go outside. He also liked to camp my bowl that I used to fill with peanuts for the squirrels if I had just refilled it.
When I had to move back in with my parents I told my mom I was going to become a cat lady ... then she reminded me that this family doesn't do cats. I then requested for her to put in a basement to which she refused to. :/ Dunno what is next really!
Oh boy, I've unleashed baking monsters!!@Llaph I'm sorry, that's awful. I adore cats. My family is both a cat and a dog family, though we lean more towards cats. My dog passed away last year and my mom insists that she was our first and last.
Looking forward to the Tempt the Stars cake. Perhaps you could one of each of the earlier books to warm up now you are our official 'Cake Laureate'. Good luck with finals.@llaph tough luck on the cat. We have one Kitty. Very cute but sociable rather than cuddly. She's a bit disdainful about being picked up.

I love both dogs and cats, but lean more towards dogs. I still want a cat, though. I want one even more now after cuddling that kitten.I've never gotten to have a dog or a cat because my mom doesn't like dogs and she's not real big on cats, either. I'd love to get a dog first, but I don't have the time to really take care of one. I'd so love having a cat, though.
I can't imagine someone not liking cats or dogs...they're so cute and fluffy!!My cat is solidly not a lap cat. She's rather temperamental and sometimes grumpy. But she's my kitty. I've had her for about 12 years.
My mom is afraid of dogs. I think she doesn't care for cats. No real reason behind it, as far as I know. I've always loved dogs and cats, though. Mostly because the babysitter my sister and I used to go to had 4 miniature schnauzers and an alley cat. I've wanted dogs and cats ever since.
Any dog. She got bitten once when she was little.She always says that if my sister and I get a dog, it better be behind a gate or she won't come visit.

I did not look it up, but read again some of the review/comments and was reminded of why I stopped reading. :P
I tried googling and either my screenreader does not like the sites or they pulled the story.
I was a team eric fan before. :( I just know it will be painful and hope I get another good book to distract me.
May is a good month for some series that I am watching. :x
