Perfect. That first quarter was the best i've ever seen them play. The atmosphere was incredible and the roar after the first four goals was deafening.
It's a shame the game was over so early because the final siren roar wasn't as loud, but I'm not gonna complain too much :P
The heritage guernseys are going up for sale! Gonna grab one, just have to pick a number to put on it D:Tossing up between Westhoff, Boaky, Kane Cornes or Schulz. Any favourites?
Seeing as my team ( Collingwood) is out I'm now going for Port Adelaide. Go Port!!! Woohoo they're in front!!
Brenda wrote: "What a fantastic 2nd half! A well deserved win:)"That was a great last quarter. I agree Brenda, a well deserved win. I'm glad they won. I like Kochie too and I'm happy for you too Michael. Let's hope they can go all the way.

I wouldn't blame you!
I wouldn't blame you!
Currently in talks with mates about road-tripping to Melbourne next weekend - even if we lose, should be a ripper game and I wanna support the boys after that performance!!WHAT A GAME!
Great Game guys! Even though my household are Dockers supporters,it was a great second half by Port and an excellent win!

Found that there's about a dozen other Port fans in the same bay as us - any Hawks fans nearby are gonna be deaf by the end of the game :P
Nah :( Haven't got the money to.Honestly don't think it's particularly likely either - should be a great game, though. Port v. North grand final would be pretty amazing :P
Liam where are you sitting? Mum booked a holiday in Melbs months ago and it turned out to be perfect timing. Got here yesterday and am super excited for Saturday :)
That Fremantle game was INCREDIBLE
There's a lot of Port supporters in the Q sections, must be allocated. You gonna go on the march? Meant to be ten thousand strong D:
Oh yeah, will be there for sure! Are you? I think sections Q and M (a bit lower down on the wing) are Port allocations, hopefully there are heaps of us there.
My mates aren't interested but I'm gonna do my best to drag them along :P Otherwise I'll just give them their tickets and send them ahead, no way I'm missing over ten thousand rowdy Port supporters chanting.
Fantastic game Dale!! We expected the result though. You'll be wearing the red and white next week :) Well done!

Commiserations to the Port supporters. I thought you were going to snatch it at the last. No doubt you will be back in the finals again next year.
Home prelim next year.God I'm not even that upset to be honest. Just being there was amazing - one minute I couldn't hear over the HAWWWTHORN -CLAPCLAPCLAP- HAWWWWTHORN -CLAPCLAPCLAP- and thirty seconds later I was screaming POOOOOOOWEEEEEEER at the top of my lungs and we were a goal away from the grand final.
So close. Ah well. Even with our shocking kicking we were THAT close to knocking off the reigning premiers - watch out boys, there's a new club in town.
Also IMMENSE kudos to my beautiful Constance Serenity, who took us there and back - 1400km - in 48 hours with zero hiccups.
Ugh. Such a hollow feeling. Should have had been six goals up at quarter time, so many missed shots that were so gettable. Polec x 2, Wingard, Schulz. So many terrible umpiring calls, both way, but when it was important they got everything and we got nothing. Huge question mark over the Jonas holding the ball in the last minute.
Hawthorn were fantastic though, they hardly missed a shot on goal.
Having said that we still got within 3 points. So devastating but still a terrific performance. Im so proud of them. I hope this inspires them to go harder for 2015. This playing group could be anything.
The Port supporters were phenomenal too. At times it felt like a home game. The march in, the last few minutes, the Burgoyne jeers. We're a loud and proud bunch, and I love it. Monfries marking and then kicking that goal to get us within a few points was the first time I've ever cried at sporting event. I honestly got so emotional...we were so close.
My seat turned out to be fantastic and it was a remarkable experience. Far better than the last game I saw in Melbourne (2007 Grand Final...ouch). Looking forward to whatever the future holds for this club, should be aiming for a top 2 finish next year. Expecting Pittard, Polec and Hartlett to all have break out years.
Pittard was fantastic these last few games. Really coming into his own.And yeah we were astounded how nice the view was. Bit more cramped than Adelaide Oval, but I guess they do squeeze twice as many in :P
What a boring game! Port v. North would've been fantastic.Consolations to Dale, congratulations to everyone else I reckon :P
Carlton were on the rise the last half of the season, if anyone can get them back into the finals in a big way it's Micky Malthouse :P
Hawthorn just too good on the day, congrats to them and a long wait till next year for us. Outplayed on the day, without a doubt.
Very proud of my Hawks boys. Everything fell into place for us on the day. Sorry Dale, I know well the pain of losing a grand final, I always feel for the players and supporters.
Paddy Ryder, Dan Gorringe and now Luke Someoneorother from Hawthorn all pegging Port Adelaide as the club they want to be at in 2015!Power on the rise :P
Is anyone into Formula 1? I've only started watching it properly this year since a group of friends and I have started playing the video game :P
Rugby Grand Final in Sydney today. Lots of cars bedecked with Canterbury or South Sydney flags around the streets where I live as we're sort of in between the two tribes. Being from WA I don't follow rugby (and my boys are Dragons and Roosters supporters), but I hope the bunnies win. They deserve to!
