Disappointed but to be expected. Still proud of our boys to have got as far as we did given the year we have had. Unbelievable pressure from Freo. They deserved the win. Felt sorry for Jude in his last game. But great sportsmanship from Freo. Hope they can take the same game next week to MCG.

Amazed that Freo won so comfortably. Gonna be a good grand final!Also BT continues to be an absolute idiot - confused the oval for Subiaco several times.

Only got to see the last quarter and a bit because of work, but any team that kicks 1.6 for a half in a Grand Final does not deserve to win. They missed too many shots in that last quarter too.
Very sad. Clear to see which team hasn't had a lot of finals experience.

Really pleased yesterday to see Adam Goodes, Sydney Swan and duel Brownlow medallist named Australian of the year for his work with indigenous Australians.

hahahaha loving the drama with the the $ANFL revoking the Crows' permission to wear the state jumper.
Heritage? No. Unity? 40,000 people booing the jumper, no.
Respect? Charging money for fans putting their name on the jumper, no.
I think they're just trying to piss us all off, still seething from round 19 last year no doubt.
I am so glad they haven't given Trigg the sack, every time he tries to make some sort of management decision it is hilarious to watch.And yeah Nigel Smart is odds-on to replace him, so that'll be even funnier.
How good to have the footy back finally last night! Even if it was only NAB cup, it was a great game to watch. Sad to see players of any team injured so early in the year though.
Anyone watching the winter olympics? LOVE the winter olympics and we got our first silver medal last night - whoo hoo!!!Actually it was our first medal at all - but that's ok we are not in the noughty group anymore (countries that don't have medals)
Not this person. Sally. I never watch any olympics. Reason? They don't play AFL which is the only sport I enjoy watching. Tragic,I know.LOL

I use to do,competition ice skating in my childhood/ early teens then we emigrated to Oz and at the time there was no ice Rink in Newcastle so had to give up. Still love my winter games :) Oh and international rugby :)

I am so excited!!! Being a Melbournian you really pine for the AFL.And even though I do not enjoy car racing, I can hear F1 racers warming up while in my office.

I think Freo will win. Watch League teams and 360 and on the Couch and Game Day but not The footy show.

Brenda's spot on about me being a huge Sydney Swans fan. Having watched GWS in NAB cup I don't think they'll be quite as easy to beat for many teams this year as some people think. They have added some experience. But I guess we'll see.I just think Freo will have something to prove tonight after the GF and also Ben Reid is out from Collingwood, but I don't think there will be much in it. It should be a good game.

I'm still deciding on my team - I have no concrete loyalty at this stage. Thought I might stick with Carlton.. be a bit more local this year as I've briefly been following the Crows until season.Game on!
