Hi. I'm in Perth - you can borrow our sun for a while.It is so hot here I have been sitting under a tree watching one of my chooks training her new chicken which I bought at a hatchery place. The poor little thing does not know 'chook language' as she hasn't had a chook mum before. Gee! talk about tough love! One step away from her'zone' and she gets a peck! The chick is learning very quickly!

Well thankfully, here on the Sunshine Coast, we are finally getting some good warm sun again - after a few weeks of constant rain and some flooding. The humidity is not too bad atm which is a bonus.

I'm going on holidays to Lord Howe Island (east of Port Maquarie) next week and I'm praying that it won't be raining, which it is right now :/ It feels like winter right now - this weather is wacked!

Yeeessss heater was switched onto a balmy 23C! I usually refuse to put on the heater but my legs were cold and I had jeans on plus warm tops..lol :s Wonderful Summer ;D

Oh dear, well you may as well be comfortable! It's been 19c here today, and I'm still in 3/4 shorts and t-shirt!!

I think yesterday it was in it's 11's or so that I switched the heater to 19 and like you could easily still enjoy being in 3/4 shorts....Today I think was colder..Felt chilly like a Winters morning..Even my car was all dewey at 6am!

Most schools went back on Monday, my school started today.

no I cant well I can but its an hour and a half trip and I have to wait for dad to come home to use his car cause mine wont make it!
I moved down the week to get to at least one job but Im back up again now and going a bit crazy

Is anyone else getting multiple copies of the GR New Discussions from Aussie Readers email digest? Lately I get 2, sometimes 3, sometimes two sent at the same time, then another minutes/hours later, all identical. Then, for a while, just one new one each day, then back to multiples.......weird

Me too, always get sent 2 at the same time, then once in a while just one, then back to two again.

Hope you love it - it's just about my most favourite place - so beautiful! it has its own microclimate so you can be lucky evn when its bad elsewhere. Still worth walking even when it's raining and you have to feed the fish!
