WHAT!!!!!!! You can't have a real one......can you?????

This is him..

I got a new phone reccently I own a game called Kinectimals.
We took a few flicks but this one he actually posed properly. I bought him that collar and tag yesterday :)
OK Laura....PLEASE EXPLAIN!!!!! How can a stuffed toy pose properly? What am I missing here...lol

Here he is a little sleepy...

I just went outside and took these flicks when it was getting dark hence the crappy lighting.
Well, he's extremely cute....but I'm technologically challenged and still don't understand...lol
But don't try to explain, as I'll probably get more confused, and feel like a real 'oldie'....lol

Hehehe..I got a way of showing you how it works actually but I need to find another camera..Will do that soon :)

I could but then I might scare the tiger...I'll place a piece of paper in the next photo with a drawing of myself though!

Nano..like as in iPod..yeah? You can already do super impose things with iphones :)
This is the first game through xbox live that allowed this much freedom. Could seriously have some fun with it!

I was actually thinking NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month - http://www.nanowrimo.org) which is suddenly this all consuming time in my life (for the first time and with little warning) and so close to the beginning of November *sigh*
But, yeah - technology is cool & inspiring. I'm pretty sure most sci-fi novelists of the last century (i.e. 20th) did not imagine us being where we are now (technologically) at this point in time... (or they imagined us being somewhere far beyond but anyway ;)
Reality is impressive :)
G'day everyone, just completed a interview with the wonderful Helene Young, our own award winning author, browse her blog & leave a comment if you wish.

Me! Im doing NaNo! Im excited to start! Last year I got 20,000 words, and its a good story, so its always there to finish in the future. Hoping to do something similar this year.

I agree, reactions of any kind are good. I remember last year, early year 9, we had to write a story about "a mess" for the NAPLAN tests. Mine was good and everything, I bel..."
haha in year 10 for trial SC for some reason they made us all sit one test for an elective we hadn't studied for, anyway I did history and just made a mockery of what was VERY stupid. I coloured in EVERY multiple choice dot perfectly, wrote one word answers where there should've been essays then in a "true or false" question ended up writing a 4 page short story (I kept asking for extra sheets of paper) about politicians in primary school, complete with a labelled cross section diagram
of a lamington. I was sent to the counsellors office and they outright asked if I was on drugs haha
And then there was my trial HSC english exam... oh dear
I got in large trouble for answering ever question on my yr 11 math exam (that I had not studdied for) with examples of ninja turtles and the large problem solving question at the end I answer with a picture of super math squirle flying the people of the triangel and telling them never ever to look for x again ....needless to say math teacher kicked me out of her class for the next year haha
Oh dear Melanie:D
The worst thing I ever did was throw the duster back at the teacher, (who had thrown it at me and hit me!) as he'd turned back to the blackboard, and I hit him in the back of the head!! Up to the principal I was marched! LOL

If so, their scales may not be tared/calibrated correctly everyday.
This happen a lot in supermarket Delis etc, everyone pays a little extra every sale, and at the end of the day the business grabs an extra profit.

They do weigh the parcels and it's $5 up to 250g, but $6.35 250-500g. And if you got it for $3 then it was thin enough (<2cm thick) to go as a large letter over 250g but <500g. So the same size bag could actually contain a lighter or heavier book, or a thinner book. Although if it was the very same book, then there's something wrong with their scales. Or maybe someone is being kind (252g, I'll just charge for 250g) whereas the next person isn't (252g is over 250g) You can download the PDF of postal charges here http://auspost.com.au/products-and-se... (down the bottom, called Post Charges Booklet MS11) so if you have scales, you can predict what you'll have to pay.
