Thats the plan! I can sleep by the pool. Supposedly its a terrific resort. Five stars or something cool like that :D
I hope it's warm enough by the pool....but then you could always wear more clothes, and still sleep by the pool..lol
Ooo..Not long to go :D And you won't have to put up with DLS changes...I didn't realise it was so soon :o!Have blast Jess!

You'll be right, you must have been a little confident, or you wouldn't have applied ;D

How do you freak an arachnophobic? Tell them you saw the biggest huntsman ever on the wall, and by the time you return with the spray it's vanished...I speak from experience :-( I still can't be in the laundry without carefully examining every inch of it
The bigger they are, the less harmless they are. When I was ten I was bitten by a tiny white-tail spider. I kid you not, the entire lower half of my leg went bright purple. There were so many doctors and medicine and injections its not even funny :/
yeah, I've been bitten twice by a whitetail spider. Both times while I was in BED - yes, bed. Gross. Each time bitten on the arm. The limb swelled up for over eight months, was absolute agony, but the doctor said 'Well, you're not going to lose your arm so you must have an immunity to the whitetail.' Woooo...It doesn't matter how big or harmless spiders are, they're still evil, horrible, horrid, disgusting things... And when I walked into the laundry today, it was right there above the door!!! The size of a bus...ok, slight exaggeration. More like the size of a 4WD, it was massive. And my crazy partner says kindly, 'Come on, mate, come here,' and grabs the spider in his hand and carries it outside!!! When he comes back inside he says, 'Feels reallly funny when it's crawling over your hand.' GROOOSSSSSSSSSS!!!! *shudder*
Im going to Queensland at 5AM tomorrow morning, and wont be back until the 11th (or is it the 13th?), anyway, I'll see you all then! Bye!
Brenda, Carmel, you're obviously both wise women who know just how horrid spiders are... would either of you like to take a guy off my hands who won't stop talking about how ticklish spiders' legs are?? *shudder*
Amber, that is sooo gross!!! You'd best send him to the naughty corner, I think...wouldn't you agree Carmel;D
If there is one thing in this world that can make me scream loudly and go totally girly it's spiders...Usually things don't scare me that badly...I have a huge hate towards them :s
My friend does...Well...I dunno if she still does...Never bothered to ask her that...But she was strange..lol
So true Brenda! My niece's boyfriend has a pet snake. It's not poisonous, but apparently it attacks when it's hungry - and Carmel, my other half is in the Naughty Corner, but he's giggling mischievously lol
Don't really care whether poisonous or not....I'll have them nowhere near me!!! lol
No giggling in the naughty corner allowed;D

I very much dislike gagas music but love her as a person she is so interesting and really gets into the causes she believes in.

I warned him about the naughty corner; he thinks we're joking :/ He doesn't realise how serious the situation is when you're sent to the corner lol

Actually, I'll be lenient on him. Do you remember the whingeing I did about the ebook fiasco? (I know, I whinge so much any one situation is hard to pinpoint, but stick with me).My lovely other half arranged with the publishers for it to be turned into an ebook, and now it's on the Amazon Kindle page!! It's under Enchantment's Deception, so if anyone is interested please go and check it out (it will be available on kobo, nook, etc in the next few weeks). And I promise, the more people who check it out, the less i will complain - totally swear it!!! :D
Haha!! Amber...he's totally forgiven! (As long as he doesn't bring more spiders into the equation!)
Enchantment's Deception that's the one isn't it?
Fantastic news! Will check it out, even without an e-reader as yet:)

What beautiful and truthful words!
A while back, at the entrance of a gym, there was a picture of a very thin and beautiful woman. The caption was "This summer, do you want to be a mermaid or a whale?"
The story goes, a woman (of clothing size unknown) answered the following way:
"Dear people, whales are always surrounded by friends (dolphins, seals, curious humans), they are sexually active and raise their children with great tenderness.
They entertain like crazy with dolphins and eat lots of prawns. They swim all day and travel to fantastic places like Patagonia, the Barents Sea or the coral reefs of Polynesia.
They sing incredibly well and sometimes even are on cds. They are impressive and dearly loved animals, which everyone defend and admires.
Mermaids do not exist.
But if they existed, they would line up to see a psychologist because of a problem of split personality: woman or fish?
They would have no sex life and could not bear children.
Yes, they would be lovely, but lonely and sad.
And, who wants a girl that smells like fish by his side?
Without a doubt, I'd rather be a whale.
At a time when the media tells us that only thin is beautiful, I prefer to eat ice cream with my kids, to have dinner with my husband, to eat and drink and have fun with my friends.
We women, we gain weight because we accumulate so much wisdom and knowledge that there isn't enough space in our heads, and it spreads all over our bodies.
We are not fat, we are greatly cultivated.
Every time I see my curves in the mirror, I tell myself: "How amazing am I ?! "

That's awesome. The last lines of that appeared on facebook today and I read it and though it was quite a strange thing to say. It makes much more sense in context.

Thanks for posting that, Brenda. I think there's so much stigma attached to being a larger size that we're almost encouraged to feel bad about ourselves. And yet, after reading your post, I'm definitely more happy as a whale and not a mermaid :)
Brenda wrote: "Yes, I think I remember you saying Carmel:)...when will the next one be out Amber? ;D"I'm still trying to get sales of Enchantment's Deception up before I try to publish the second one. There are five in the series, so I'm hoping enough people will like the first that it sells then I can keep bringing out the rest of the books. Keep your fingers crossed for me - I promised no more whingeing lol :D
Carmel wrote: "Amber, he's a sweet man, all forgiven!!Brenda, Sheldon loved Amber's book & said she is looking forward to her next one:)"
Carmel, thank your lovely daughter again for me!! :D
