★ Jess | 3071 comments I only had two complaints about the film:
That, and there was too little of the Order. I wanted more footage of members of the Order vs Death Eaters. There was too little of Tonks, Kingsley, Lupin and Mad Eye.

Lee (kiwifirst) Hi Laura, just finished episode 6. Started 7 but going to finish it tomorrow. It's very good, great casting for some roles. Seeing Boramir (sp) playing Ned is a bit strange.

message 3403: by Lee (new)

Lee (kiwifirst) Megan, you could start reading the first book or watch the series, I think reading the first book will make the series so much more enjoyable. There is lots of characters and houses to remember.

Yeah - that is what my brother said - that the series was really good after the book but where he had watched the series first, there was lots of deja vu reading the book after. I'll borrow the book off him.

Belinda. Hamilton (belindahamilton) | 23 comments We're trying our best to take the young adult novel Burn Bright, by Marianne de Pierres, to international markets. US, UK etc.

There is a great author interview and petition on the blog Strangemore

Read the interview and sign the petition to help our poor deprived friends get their hands on a copy of this brilliant book.

Breaking the OS market isn't an easy thing for any author and Marianne deserves our help to get her fabulous Young Adult Novel out there.

★ Jess | 3071 comments Michael, here is your daily dose of Harry Potter: I saw it again today...and cried. Not as much as the first time, but I still shed a tear for Lupin & Tonks. That is all.

Megan | 114 comments You guys would miss them if they actually left

message 3411: by Megan (new)

Awesome Lee, now read the books ;)

message 3421: by Lee (new)

Lee (kiwifirst) KL oh I have already read the first 4. I would recommend anyone read GoT before watching the series. You'll get so much more enjoyment knowing who is who.

message 3422: by Michael (new)

Michael (knowledgelost) I've read book one, but I have all year to read book two :-P

message 3423: by [deleted user] (new)

Just thought I would let you all know, I just finished cooking a large pot of bacon hock/bone soup, enought to last a couple of days, including taking some to work. Mmmmmm!!

And no dirty utensils to do as I rinse & place in the dishwasher as I go (-:

message 3424: by ★ Jess (new)

★ Jess | 3071 comments I whipped up some home-made orange juice the other day, if we're talking about food and beverages. It was very delicious.

Brenda | 80169 comments Mod
Those fancy juicers are awesome..we don't have one, but son & d-i-l do, and they are always making up some concoction with fruit and vegetables!!

message 3426: by ★ Jess (new)

★ Jess | 3071 comments Im addicted to making juice :)
No vegetables though Brenda, just sweet fruit.

Carmel wrote: "OMG I just did my first Zumba class, I am so uncoordinated & probably won't be able to walk tomorrow!! ha"

How are you feeling today Carmel....hobbling a bit;D I've thought about zumba, but I'm never game enough, so well done to you...did you enjoy it, that's the main thing?

message 3438: by Michael (new)

Michael (knowledgelost) Hope you are feeling ok now! Not to put any pressure on you but that To Read list is piling up :-P

message 3439: by Lee (new)

Lee (kiwifirst) I always knew reading Before I Go to Sleep caused fatigue.

message 3440: by [deleted user] (new)

Hahahahaha! I won't read it then. I am fatigued enough!

message 3441: by [deleted user] (new)

Hmmmmmmm actually that isn't such a bad idea. I could use a couple of days bed rest away from the family. If all it takes is reading Before I Go to Sleep I could be persuaded.

message 3442: by Michael (new)

Michael (knowledgelost) It's that need to finish the book before sleeping that causes fatigue

message 3443: by [deleted user] (new)

O NO Michael! hope everything is all good...see this this is what happens when you stop reading and leave the house!

@carmel you seem to faired better then me after my zumba class...first one I went I almost died!

message 3444: by ★ Jess (new)

★ Jess | 3071 comments Ah! Michael...Thats not good! Take it easy and get better soon!!!

message 3445: by ★ Jess (new)

★ Jess | 3071 comments Im going to bed around 7ish, or else my sleeping pattern will be messed up.

Sounds very scary, Michael. I hope you find out what it is - maybe a reaction to something you were eating? Take it easy!
