Lol my family's about the same. I have a niece, a brother and a great nephew in January, my mother in Feb, a brother and another niece in March, April is our horror month: 2 cousins on the same day, a niece 3 days later, a sister and my grandmother on the same day, an aunt, my younger sister and I share the same birthday, then my eldest sister is 4 days after that, and my grandfather was the day following. My sister in law in May, another great nephew and brother in law in June, nephew in July, father in August, niece in September, fiancee in October, brother's anniversary in November, and in Dec I have another niece, and mum and dad's anniversary...Ok, I'm tired just thinking of all the gifts I have to buy - especially with Christmas coming!!!

Yes! I've noticed it as well..It also means games for the PS3/360/wii/ds have been reduced as well..Hard to ignore all those sales x(

It's interesting this year Big W is actually allowing lay-by online :O!

Happy holidays Michael!! It doesn't matter what the weather, at least you can do what you want to do, when you want to do it!!! If you decide to stay in bed most of the day cos it's miserable outside, that's what you can do.....If you decide to walk in the rain, you can do it! Enjoy!!!! :D

Lee (kiwifirst) In thread poll/question;

You are chosen to read for an audio book. You get to choose the book. Given the complexities of reading aloud, creating drama, identifying characters etc

Which book would you choose to read? why?

message 3226: by [deleted user] (last edited Jul 06, 2011 05:32PM) (new)

Hop on Pop! That would test the limit of my reading aloud skills. I suck.

message 3227: by Lee (new)

Lee (kiwifirst) :) so Gail, you'd need to pick a book that made suck less. ? that sounds weird

message 3228: by [deleted user] (new)

Lee wrote: ":) so Gail, you'd need to pick a book that made suck less. ? that sounds weird"

Ha, you got me.

Lee, this deserves it's own thread rather than being hidden away in the weather and everything topic. I am sure you will get better responses from other more responsible members of the group.

message 3229: by [deleted user] (new)

There is probably one or two among the 1371 members in the group. Maybe they are the quiet ones.

I feel for you. I just got past a virus that went round and then I lost my voice today and am worried that will turn into the cold that has everyone miserable at home from work at the moment. And I have ten days to write 10,000 words before I leave for Thailand for a holiday. No time to get sick a second time...

Nah - I have no justifications left, I already have a BA so I wouldn't get anything and my family and friends have already given me up for a professional student even tho I promise this is my last year...

But if you post what you are up to here maybe we can keep happy that way :) Do you know what sorts of papers you will take?

Gail, it's never a waste to be more educated, it's not just the learning it's the fulfillment you would get from it. Maybe you can't do it now but perhaps in the future you could....good luck, I know you'd be great!

That's terrible they won't let you take the time off when you're sick, moreso when you work with food! Something very wrong there!!! Take it easy Melanie!
