Hey, you probably all remember me complaining last month when the Angus and Robertson store I worked in was closing down. Well, a heads-up for everyone - just heard today that ALL A&R stores are closing :(
Oh, I thought all A&R stores were closed. So just then I got happy some were open...then upset because their closing :(
Fingers crossed Dymocks is okay for years & years into the future...
Dymocks isnt Redgroup though...I dont think?
I heard the NZ borders and Whitcoulls had got a buyer. "Last week, REDgroup sold off 57 New Zealand-based Whitcoulls and five Borders stores to the operator of Farmers, the James Pascoe Group for an undisclosed sum, taking 900 more staff off the payroll of the bookseller."Obviously the Aussie group not sold

Yeah, initially we were all told the few that are left were staying open. But a friend of mine who still works for the company was informed yesterday that the administrators will be handling the closure of all Angus and Robertson stores. They're not sure when it will be happening, but apparently by the end of July they expect it all to be over. I feel sorry for all the staff who thought they were safe; it's a very cruel situation to be in.

JList, eBay or try hitting up your local Asian towns (mostly grocery stores).
There are a few sorts of gum out there but the one I chew the most is BlackBlack Gum.

What, a proper library!?!? Like, a room dedicated to books? That is so cool! I should definitley split the shelfs in my room to 'read' and 'TBR'. Maybe this weekend...
